"We stayed in the Commissary. Very interesting old home from 1820 but the property (or at least, the care taker's position) has recently changed hands, so you'll see why the "breakfast" portion of "B & B" is not available right now. No other guests were staying the evening of our visit, so the caretaker gave us a tour of the house, and even let us see the attic. It really is just like the Loyd Hall website states...that there is no one else in the home, in terms of staff members, and if you book one of the inside suites, you will be alone in the house. Very quiet, peaceful setting. We were very comfortable in the Commissary."

"The stay was just what was needed. Furniture needs updating. If there was more thought, put into the rooms with furniture and more immunities that they will be very pleasant. I did like that. It was quiet and not noisy."

"The landscape was neat and clean. The room was a double with just the basic necessities for a one-night stay. When I walked into the room it had just been cleaned and had the most pleasant smell. It was also very quiet in the building; not a lot of door slamming or noisy people. The bed was clean and mattress comfortable. Suitable for a quick trip in and out!!! Hotel staff and workers were pleasant and friendly."

"This house had a true Louisiana vibe....felt like home. I as a Dad...can tell you that they're aspects of house rental that are unappreciated. This house had hot water, good water pressure, an adequate kitchen and great A/C. All the bathrooms were functional and love the size of the master bathroom....BIG! Mom said she loved the beds...there was a bit of a climb for a 5'2'' granny...but all the beds were nice. Thanks to Chris and Kiara, we had a great family reunion."
