10/10 Excellent
"It was SO much fun to stay in a cool historic building just a few blocks away from the restaurants, theaters and shops in downtown Ogden! I don't think we had anything other than an 8 minute drive to our destinations in the 3 days our cabal of 5 (plus canine) stayed. My FAVORITE thing (other than our HOST) was the CLIMATE CONTROL. I'm old and must be comfortable at all times! No problem with individual AC in every room and TWO comfy recliners!Parking was just a few steps away from the front door (accessed via a wooden path at the rear of the house). The home was secure and our host just a few minutes away. We didn't need a thing and there were no problems so we didn't get to see him often enough. The beds and bedding were comfortable and the pullout bed was better than most - sporting a thick foam mattress. The place was also very clean and looked freshly redecorated. Amazingly,NO bugs in sight! Our pup felt very welcome. We were worried he might wee on the new carpet. There must have been no leftover odors to tempt him. YAY!The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals - even a few basic ingredients left by previous renters. The problem with cooking is that, for every meal we fixed, we missed a meal at one of Ogden's fantastic eateries. We'll have to make a point of returning so we can try many more.If you love nature and raptors, don't miss The Ogden Nature Center. Laid back vibes, country paths, critters and trees just steps from the main road. Thanks Chris!"
