The Ibiza Museum of Contemporary Art is an important gallery of modern works housed in a chic building in Ibiza’s city center. It is known for its array of engravings and works by acclaimed artists. Admire the design of the building, which comprises the 17th-century edifice designed by Simon Poulet. It is today combined with architect Victor Beltran Roca’s modern section made up of whitewashed walls and glass. Pass through the vaulted rooms of the museum, which was inaugurated in 1969. Study the significant selection of engravings for which the museum is famed. Enter the site for free. The museum opens Tuesday to Sunday from morning until late afternoon, with closure for a few hours in the middle of the day. In winter, it also closes on weekends.
