NEW!! The Winterland Chalet with Barrel Sauna

Tastefully renovated cabin with comfort and relaxation in mind. We renovated the space with every detail in mind in order to give you the best experience. Breathtaking views set at 10k ft seen from right outside the deck. Jump in the barrel sauna and relax after the mountains. Afterwards have a drink in the game room and hang out next to the fire. Located minutes from the Glacier trailhead as well as other hiking one step away. It has been a dream come true and cant wait to share with guests.

Michael was very communicative and friendly. The home was family friendly. The layout allowed for kids to have their own private space. The pool table was a plus, we enjoyed some friendly competition to wind down the evenings. Overall great experience and location.

The perfect cozy cabin for a weekend getaway! Close to all Idaho Springs / Georgetown has to offer. Great layout with a breathtaking view.

Great Experience

My family and I had an amazing White Christmas this 2024 and part of it was thanks to our host, he made sure we had a Christmas Tree for the occasion. Husband and I had enjoyed our morning coffees with a beautiful view, my kids enjoyed the pool table and playing outside in the snow.The spacing was perfect just the way it was needed.

Getting in

My only complaint was the walkway/steps to get up to the deck etc was sort of shoveled and very icy. There is a railing to hold on to but only a little ways up the walk. The walk to the sauna was not shoveled so we did not use - to much snow to get to it. Felt treacherous to go back and forth to the car.

Beautiful Place To Stay

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. It was perfect for two adult couples. My husband and I had our space upstairs, while my son and daughter-in-law stayed downstairs. Both the upstairs and downstairs had a bedroom, bathroom, and living area so we felt like we each had our own space. We were actually snowed in for a morning, and it was just fine with us! The kitchen was well stocked and the fireplace made the stay warm and cozy! The road getting to the house stays pretty cleared off, but we hit a bad snowstorm and were thankful we had a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle. Idaho Springs is the perfect location if you are interested in skiing at Loveland which we did one of the days. Michael was great to work with! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
