Casa de David - Apartment in Monsanto

Casa de David studio has easy access for cars and parking. The room is an open space studio with ensuite bahroom, kichenette. There is a double bed and a separate fold out bed for a third guest. The house is located in Monsanto, one of the 12 Portuguese historic villages. The medieval village perches on the side of a rocky mountain offering never ending views of the surrounding countryside. Strolling around the village you will see some amazing sights of houses built into huge granite boulders left over from the ice age. On the top of the mountain you will find an impressive turreted castle to explore

Casa David is positioned perfectly for walking around viewing the amazing sites and close to cafes.

The property was a delight to stay in, comfortable, tastefully furnished with a modern lovely bathroom. Breakfast was supplied by Estela who was also a delight! Highly recommend.

Lovely Studio in beautiful Monsanto

Casa David was great for our stay. It is in a great location at the base of the town, within walking distance to cafes and restaurants. The apartment was very comfortable, with an updated bathroom and shower and nicely decorated.

Stella was an amazing host and the accommodations were beautiful! She even stocked the fridge with a couple of beers to help with our driving stress! The views are out of this world!

This is The best place we have stayed at in Portugal. We have been travelling for 3 weeks at Lisbon ,Porto , Nazare,Rome and this place takes the prize. Our host was absolutely fantastic, such a niceLady . We are worn out from climbing the rocks but could always be happy to come home to a nice suite We are 70 years old and still going.

Perfect little place in a perfect little town

Monsanto is a gem in the Portugese countryside. Casa de David is a similar little jewel in this hilltop town. I recommend both the town and the house. Estela is a marvelous host and the room is wonderful. Make sure and check out her art gallery too.
