"The accommodation is very peaceful at the end of a step private drive and could not have asked for a nicer place to stay had everything we needed. Walk into the village is up and down a steep hill, but that is what you expect from these lovely seaside places. The village has everything you need and some great places to eat, would highly recommend this place."

"beautiful outlook and amazing quality barn conversion. All the little details have been thought of. Even the loo roll is top quality!!!! Gilbert is a fantastic host. Only downside was It was quite small for 4 of us, and the limited windows meant it was quite dark and I imagine it could get quite hot at the height of summer."

"This place is just wonderful. It is finished to a high standard and is very comfortable and homely. It is situated in a very quiet location and is only 10 minutes from the seaside at Paignton. It is ideally positioned to explore Torbay and the surrounding areas and allows you to escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside at the end of your day. "I checked in on an incredibly hot day when the air conditioning wasn't working as it should. The lady at reception moved my room without being asked to make sure the room I was checked into had air con. When I got to my room, it had clearly been prepared with the heat in mind - the curtains were closed against the direct sunlight and a fan was running - the room was lovely and cool, a nice reprieve from the heat outside. Staff are polite and incredibly helpful. "
