Idlewild is located in the heart of Lake County, the perfect area for outdoor enthusiasts. The historic Idlewild community is well known for cultural festivals, jazz events, water sports, rest & relaxation. Our house features 1 queen sized bed, 2 twin beds, & 1 twin blow up mattress. Full kitchen w/stove, all cookware, microwave, refrigerator, and a grill for all your cooking needs. No wi-fi & weak cell phone signals so you can detach from technology. We have a 65-inch TV and LOTS of movies: comedy, action, kid friendly, and classics for the family as well as games. House sits on 6 lots so bring your camper and outdoor toys!

Lake county has 146 lakes & trout streams & trails. If you own a kayak, boat, jet ski, 4 -wheeler, or any other ORVs then you MUST bring them with you. The trailhead is easily accessible 2 miles from property at 6023 S. Forman Road behind the Dollar General. Information is available for you to visit Baldwin Canoe Rental which rents canoes, kayaks, and tubes for floating on the Pere Marquette River. You will enjoy the peace and quiet of the woods with your friends and family! If you’re looking to visit other areas of Michigan this is a great pit stop along the way.
