"Nestled in an area of natural beauty, Steamboat Inn is very special. Our cabin was down the road a bit from the main reception/restaurant area, and was very comfortable, well equipped and quiet. The restaurant is set on the banks of the Umpqua River, providing beautiful views to accompany the lovely meals we had there. The wine list was extensive and especially highlighted local Oregon wines (and beer). Communication prior to our arrival was a little on the brusque side but any concerns were immediately dispelled upon arrival - all the staff we met were fun, helpful and very friendly. Don’t forget to check out the library, a lovely peaceful area to sit and lounge by the river. Highly recommend staying here … we have already recommended it to friends who are into fishing and those who wish to spend some time in nearby Crater Lake."

"Idleyld Lodge, this is a cute mid century rustic lodge, older but comfortable. The owners clearly have done some renovations, but tried to keep it in the period. Beds were comfortable and the spaces were clean and tidy. Great for our one night stay. We were greeted by the owner/ operator who was very friendly and accommodating. We received a lovely welcome snack and bottled waters. She also provided good recommendations for local food in the area. AC and fans were a nice plus, all outlets we used were in working order, as well as the Wi-Fi. "
