The staff was a bit rude

The Kyoto Century Hotel is a fantastic establishment. Staff are friendly, attentive and courteous. Rooms have king sized bed, mini fridge and the hotel provide yukata. The only snag we had was with the check-in process. Check-in is at 3pm and the hotel uses a self check-in computer kiosk (there is only 3 of them). It's a little overwhelming having only 3 kiosks and all the hotel guests trying to check-in all at once. But staff are there to help streamline the process as best as they can. Not the end of the world. You are however able to check your luggage in with the hotel before check-in time if you arrive early and your luggage will be waiting for you in your room. Hotel location is minutes walk away from the Kyoto Station and shopping district. We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Kyoto Century Hotel.

Excellent hotel choice for Kyoto. Nice rooms. Nice location. Nice staff. Hotel is very clean and beds were great. Room was good sized for Japan. Would stay again and search out other Cross hotel locations.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The onsen was amazing and I loved how convenient the location is. My only issue is that the internet wasn’t reliable enough for my liking.
