Wir haben kürzlich für zweieinhalb Wochen unsere Ferien auf dem Weingut Geiler in der Fewo "Neucaste

Pros: Wir haben kürzlich für zweieinhalb Wochen unsere Ferien auf dem Weingut Geiler in der Fewo "Neucastell" verbracht. Die Ausstattung der Wohnung und der Service waren vorbildlich. Allerdings liegt die Wohnung unter dem Dach und ist nur über das Treppenhaus mit ca. 38 Stufen zu erreichen. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend und gehen jederzeit umgehend auf die Belange ihrer Gäste ein. Dieses Domizil ist absolut empfehlenswert und wir können jedem, der seinen Urlaub in dieser Gegend verbringen möchte, dazu raten, hier einmal vorbei zu schauen.

Pros: Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt! Das Weingut Geiler ist ideal gelegen, um die Pfalz / Südliche Weinstraße zu Fuß, mit dem Fahrrad oder Auto zu erkunden. Wir sind sicher 100km innerhalb unserer Urlaubswoche gelaufen und habe mehrere nahegelegen Burgen besichtigt, sind gut eingekehrt und haben Land, Natur und Leute genossen. Mit dem Auto ist Frankreich, Heidelberg, Karlsruhe u.v.m. gut zu erreichen und deshalb ist auch bei schlechterem Wetter immer was zu tun. Im Ort Ilbesheim haben wir zwei Restaurants besucht, die beide über eine gute bis sehr gute Qualität verfügen und von sehr netten Betreibern geführt werden. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Weingut selbst bietet zwei Wohnung. Die grössere von beiden haben wir bewohnt. Die Wohnung war komplett ausgestattet und vor allem geschmackvoll ausgestaltet: kein altes Sofa, keine billigen Holzmöbel, kein zusammengewürfelter Resthausbestand oder andere optischen Grausamkeiten. Im Gegenteil ist alles hell, freundlich und modern. Die Küche wurde von uns nur zum Frühstücken benutzt, ist aber vollkommen ausgestattet, so dass auch durchgehend gekocht werden könnte. Die Betten waren prima, nicht durchgelegen und zwei Schlafzimmer bieten genug Platz. Das Weingut liegt nahe einer Landstrasse, die jedoch kaum zu hören ist. Lediglich die Arbeit im Weingut und das Duschen in der Nachbarwohnung war gut zu hören. Aber nach der Weinlese wird die gewisse Hellhörigkeit auch egal sein. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich, einem Schwätzchen nie abgeneigt, aber nicht aufdringlich. So soll es sein! Alles in allem sehr empfehlenswert und so gut, dass wir selbst (beide Mitte 40) auch als verwöhnte Urlauber gerne wiederkommen würden.

Zu Gast in der Fewo Neucastell Ende Oktober/ Anfang November als Familie mit 2 Kindern und 1 klein

Pros: Zu Gast in der Fewo Neucastell Ende Oktober/ Anfang November als Familie mit 2 Kindern und 1 kleinem Hund. Bei unserer Ankunft wurden wir sehr herzlich durch Frau Geiler empfangen und hatten während unseres Aufenthaltes eine überaus freundliche Ansprechpartnerin. Ein dickes Dankeschön noch einmal für den netten Willkommensgruss, der den Kindern und uns köstlich geschmeckt hat. Die FeWo ist liebevoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Der morgendliche Brötchen-Service funktionierte super und ersparte uns den Gang zum Bäcker. Auf dem gegenüber liegenden riesigen "Alla Hopp Spielplatz" hatten die Kinder eine tolle Möglichkeit sich richtig auszupowern. Zum Gassi gehen brauchte man ebenfalls nur eine Straße überqueren und schon fand man sich inmitten herlicher Weinberge wieder. Außerdem bot die Südpfalz um die FeWo herum ein großes Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten, aber auch die Möglichkeit etwas Ruhe vom stressigen Alltag zu finden. Bestens erholt kehrten wir aus unserem Urlaub zurück und kommen im nächsten Jahr sehr gerne wieder.

Pros: In den Herbstferien 2017 waren wir mit dem 11jährigen Enkel in der "Kleinen Kalmit". Die Wohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten, sogar eine Teekanne fanden wir vor, welche häufig in anderen Ferienwohnung fehlt. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Die Wohnung hat keinen Balkon, dafür aber einen wunderschönen Garten, den wir genießen konnten. Herr und Frau Geiler sind äußerst hilfsbereit. Wir werden bestimmt auch mit weiteren Enkeln dort Ferien machen. Ilbesheim liegt ideal, um Burgen und Felsen zu erwandern.
