"The hotel is lovely and clean and on arrival you feel that you are somewhere special and only a short walk into Torquay."

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good. Room was clean . However was very tired and need of a freshen up. Could not turn shower off so had to be moved rooms. Second room lock was a bit fishy and needed lots of pulling/pushing to secure locking "

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The history of the hotel is interesting as it is a former WW1 Hospital. That said it is dated for that same reason. We did not eat ar the restaurant so no review there but we found the bar very blah. Its more of a counter with alcohol. They have very limited parking but there is a pay public car park nearby. We found most of the sites to be within walking distance byt as far as pubs, shopping, or restaurants in the immediate area there really isn't anything. The hitel is fine for a night if you are on a road trip but if you are looking for several nights I would probably pick someplace else"

"Great spot. Great spa. Water could be warmer in Pool and hydro pool. But ok. Good food. And most staff great. "
