Austere and cool
The only issue is the convoluted entry/check in process. There appears to be a 6 digit code to enter at the outside door BUT it is not necessary. Then there is a 6 digit code to enter to get INTO the lodging area BUT because the code is right on the door, ANYONE can just get in. THEN, and this is by far the worst, to get in your room you are provided a SIX DIGIT code! This is beyond overkill. ONLY a 4 digit code, like a PIN for a debit card, is needed. ANYONE can remember a 4 digit code-but try to remember a 6 digit code-not so easy, especially when you are on vacation. THUS, I had to keep this code in my wallet AT ALL TIMES-otherwise, I would have not been able to get back into my room! ABSURD! They give you an emergency phone # to call but why would I pay for cell phone service in Greenland?
Otherwise, this place was quite good. 6 rooms, 3 shared bathrooms and since I was just there in off season in early March, essentially I had the whole place to myself for 2 of the nights I stayed.
Decent wifi (but still too slow to stream video), nice bathrooms (but there needs to be a place to put your hair care products on a shelf in the shower). The location is great-5 min. walk to World of Greenland and a 2 min. walk to two big supermarkets right across from each other basically charging the same price for everything-no real competition.
Finally, they need to tell ALL OF THE TAXI DRIVERS that they are a different "B&B" than the one run by the Dane & his Thai wife.
Stayed 2 nights in Mar 2020
