"The room was clean and easily accessible from our parking spot. The staff were great. The only complaint was that the breakfast was one of the most minimal that I recall from any motel that claimed to provide breakfast."

"My only criticism is the toilet. Not a regular use flush done. It is more like a toilet you get in a camper. Not a deal breaker but would like to have a regular toilet. Other than that everything else was great. Supper nice host."

"Our group of nine female veterans spent four days at this beautiful property, and it was an exceptional retreat experience. The man‑made waterfall quickly became a favorite spot—peaceful, calming, and a perfect backdrop for reflection. Inside, the décor featuring various animal mounts kept us guessing and added a fun, unique touch to the home. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and well‑suited for a group our size.The host was kind, responsive, and accommodating. When the power went out briefly, I was able to reach her right away, and she immediately provided backup candles. Fortunately, the outage lasted only about twenty minutes.We enjoyed daily walks along the long driveway, watched a family of turkeys come in to feed, and spent time observing the horses grazing in the pasture below. The entire setting offered a peaceful, restorative environment—exactly what we hoped for.All in all, it was a wonderful and serene getaway. We would definitely return."

"We enjoyed the place although the fires around the area created too much smoke to go down to the river. We went up to Trout Lake only 30 minutes away and were out of the smoke where the fishing was great! The house had a great patio and plenty of room for four of us."

"We had a fabulous time here. The kitchen was very well stocked with spices and such. Kitchen was a bit tight for our group (20 people) so we ate in shifts or outside. There were tons of inside and outside games. The beach was where most of our time was spent. There were lots of chairs and a couple kayaks and canoes. My grandkids loved the "Tiki Bar" and actually cried when we left. Beach was in shade for first part of day..best sun time was afternoon. Mosquitoes were an issue in the evening... bring lots of bug spray!The Stitts have put a lot of thought and effort into making their home a magical place for others! I highly recommend"

"A beautiful property by Lake Roosevelt great hosts! I'm spending another 2 weeks! Working in dispatch long hours and the washer/ dryer / large fridge and the peace and quiet is everything I needed for a peaceful stay very safe."
