"We rented this property for my wife’s birthday weekend. This cabin was very clean, organized, and had more amenities than most rentals. The property is secluded with a nice view off of the back porch. It had a large, brand new hot tub that was very clean. The firepit was top notch and there was LOTS of dry kindling and firewood. "It was amazing. If you are looking for a place with scenic views look no further! Absolutely stunning to walk around the deck and enjoy the blue ridge mountains. However, I would HIGHLY recommend a 4WD. Don’t make the mistake we made and think “oh well, I am a good driver it shouldn’t be an issue”… chances of someone getting up the last few hundred feet with a fully loaded front wheel drive are very slim!! Road/driveway into property no problem to access with my vehicle (front wheel drive). Cabin well stocked, clean, beds comfy, and linens fresh. "The property is a little run down. All of the animals are gone, fields are over grown. The pond and the pavillion area has not been cared for. Yes the grass had been mowed but that was it. All of the chairs were dirty and covered in grass trimmings and dirt. Shameful. It was such a great place to sit and enjoy the property. The cabin however, was in great condition and very clean. "Just right for my wife and I as we used this as a base to explore the surrounding areas. It was refreshing to find an actual queen sized bed as it was advertised. There was a nice sized shower and nicely stocked kitchen. Neighbors are near, but can't be seen from the property. We would definitely stay again!"
