The COVID-19 outbreak has ushered in significant changes to the way we travel. If you're planning a trip to Innoshima, these tips will help you navigate these new travelling challenges:

• Find out what, if any, restrictions or rules apply to both your origin and destination. You may not be able to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you lock in your flight.
• Requirements state that you must wear a face mask at the airport, including at screening checkpoints. Be prepared to adjust your mask for identification purposes when asked by a TSA officer.
• Avoid handing your boarding pass (electronic or paper) directly to a TSA employee. Rather, place your pass on the scanner and then hold it up so the agent can inspect it.
• TSA now allows passengers to take one container of hand sanitizer, up to 12 oz (350 ml) in size, in carry-on bags. This will have to be removed from your bag for screening.
• Remove items from your pockets, such as your wallet, coins and keys, and place them in your carry-on instead of the bins. This will minimize handling during the screening process.
• If you're taking food on board, place it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This lessens the likelihood that a TSA agent will need to touch your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
