Comfy Interlochen home, close to Traverse city, Duck and Green lake Pet Friendly

This is our last summer***Our Fashion Avenue home is walking Distance to Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen library, Green Lake, and Duck Lake State Park. Our home is on a large corner lot. The living space is combined with kitchen and dining allowing for family gathering. The two bedrooms, 1 Queen, and 1 Full bed, and a sleeper sofa (linens are supplied). Cozy living room and TV with Roku Charter TV app and 1 gig of Wi-Fi for your entertainment. One bathroom which has whirlpool tub/shower combination. The laundry area has a washer and a dryer, iron and ironing board. Our Kitchen has an electric stove/ oven with warming tray, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, and a dining table and many other updates.

Outside living area has a fenced in back yard, gas grill, seating area on the deck and a fire pit. We are 11 miles from Traverse City which is home to the National Cherry Festival, numerous Wine Country events, shopping and dining, Traverse City Film Festival, etc. There is always something happening in the Traverse City area. Of course, hunting, fishing, boating, skiing, and sight-seeing plus other activities are all close (10-20 mins) from our location.

Lovely location and place to stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen had lots of items to assist with meal making. Location of house was central to all we wanted to do in the region. Our family of four was very comfortable.

This property is perfect for any type of visit to the area. Mary always responded immediately to my messages, and the property description was spot-on. Week at Interlochen

Perfect location for our stay in Interlochen while our son attended Interlochen music camp a mile away. The property was very clean and the owners have done a wonderful job furnishing the home. Check-in and check-out were simple, and everything we needed was provided and available. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and quiet stay, great yard!

We loved staying at this cute home in Interlochen! Perfect with the fenced back yard for our small dog, he loved running laps and smelling all the smells! Beautiful patio setup as well. Whirlpool tub was a plus, very relaxing after a big day at Sleeping Bear! Easy to get in and out of the home. Overall we had a great time! Thanks to the gracious hosts :)

IAA student & Mom celebration

I absolutely love this house! It is decorated so nicely, had everything we needed and I was so happy to have a fenced in yard for our pup with a nice deck for me to hang out on! I made many trips back and forth to the academy and the location is ideal! Will definitely try to stay again since I will be in the area so much over next two years!!

Very nice!!

We stayed at this home three nights. It was perfect for us - clean, cozy, right size house, comfy beds, fenced yard for our two dogs, and in a fine neighborhood. We slept soundly. And spent time in Traverse City, Frankfort, and up the Leelanau Penninsula during the day.

Everything you need and more!

We had an amazing time at Mary’s place! Felt like home away from home. Every amenity you could think of and just a short drive to Traverse City. We also visited Sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland and several vineyards in the area. Spotless, clean, comfortable beds and fenced in backyard, which was great for our dog. Restaurants and grocery store within less than a mile. We will definitely be returning! Total five star!

Perfect house for a Northern MI vacation

Pictures don't do this house justice! Kudos to the cleaning crew...It's the cleanest place I've ever stayed! Updated appliances, comfortable beds, everything you could need, including a nice little backyard, perfect for a dog, with seating to enjoy the outdoors. Convenient to Traverse City and all the sites, without the TC expense! I'd stay here again. Thank for providing such a clean and comfortable house. Much better than the photos! :-)

Comfortable & Relaxing

This cottage was a perfect blessing to our family as we were in town for a 2-day sports event in Traverse City. It was more spacious than expected. Our family of 6 moved around with ease. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There were enough seats for everyone in our family to be comfortable in the living room and dining room. It is within driving distance to many sights and attractions. It's a perfect getaway for an extended weekend.

Christmas Gift

Instead of gifts at Christmas we spent family time making memories at this Perfect cottage. God blessed us with the real meaning of CHRISTmas. It was a magical cottage. Everything you can imagine and more. Added bonus our fur babies were welcome and they had a great time. WE WILL BE BACK.

Interlochen Cottage Stay

We'd stayed at this property while visiting Interlochen and touring northwest Michigan. The house is on a corner lot with a fenced back yard which was convenient. The check-process was easy and the host was responsive during our stay. The interior of the house was very clean. The house has 3 floor air conditioners but their water collectors have to be manually emptied. Overall we enjoyed our stay and the convenience of the location, except for an incident that happened the last night. At about 1:30 AM someone started banging on our front door. We had no idea who it was. It woke us up and un-nerved us to say the least. Beyond that the rest of our stay was fine and uneventful.
