Lovely 3BR Close to Downtown

Great 3BR, 2 bath house in quiet residential area has everything you need for a home away from home. Close to downtown, grocery stores, restaurants, coffee shops, a great brewery, parks and public transportation.

2 Bedrooms are situated upstairs and a 3rd is on the main floor. All have large closets, fans and beautiful lighting. The living room, dining room and kitchen have a great flow with a semi-open floor plan. The deck overlooks a backyard with a privacy fence. The keypad entry ensures a safe and easy check in and check out. Other highlights include comfy couches, a Smart TV, an awesome dining room table to seat 5 (or 7 with a leaf), and a bar with 2 stools. The well-stocked kitchen has a great gas stove and lots of storage. The house has varied lighting options, from bright and cheerful to more intimate. On-site parking for up to 3 cars (in a single-car garage and alongside the house in the driveway). Additional street parking is available.

Great Stop for Ragbrai

This home was spacious and a good stopping point for a Ragbrai team. House was clean, easily able to enter, comfy beds, and nice kitchen.

Iowa City resale shopping visit

The house is cute, comfortable, has easy access, and is well-located in town. The mattresses were comfortable, the kitchen contains the essentials, The place was very clean, and it's in a quiet neighborhood. We were happy!

Comfy place to stay for the night

Everything was as presented and we found it clean and very comfortable. Our family had come in for a wedding in Kalona, and this was our lodging for one night. No one had a single complaint. :) We found the furnishings comfortable and having 2 bathrooms was a blessing. We'd certainly recommend this rental to anyone else.

Nice place and neighborhood to walk in. Coffee shop close. Owner reached out with personal message before check in; nice touch. Clean and had everything we needed. Bed comfortable downstairs (we didn’t use the upstairs, but it was nice as well). Back porch was nice to have since weather was perfect. Thanks for sharing your home and addressing any concerns.😊

Perfect weekend

This was exactly what we wanted. Super close to downtown but really quiet in a pretty neighborhood. I’m a “clean freak” and this place was super clean. I didn’t have to clean before moving in! 😊 I really appreciated the easy access to extra supplies like blankets, towels, tp, etc. They were washed, soft, and in plentiful supply. Check in and out was easy. Blake, the host, was super helpful and responded quickly to my questions. Hope it’s warmer on our next visit so we can use the porches.

Convenient and quiet location, felt very safe. Property could use some love as far as updating and yard maintenance. Clearly there’s some years of wear and tear, but somewhat expected in a college town. A fresh coat of paint and new furniture would go a long way though.

Guys football weekend

Charming!

My husband and I stayed in this lovely home for the weekend. We were visiting our daughter and son-in-law who live nearby but don’t have a guest room. The house is in a quiet, well-established neighborhood convenient to everything we wanted to do. It was clean and well-maintained and had clear, easy directions. We will look for this house again the next time we visit.

Getaway

This was a girls get away with my daughters, my 91 yr old mom and myself. We had a great time and having a first floor bedroom and bath was a necessity! Would definitely recommend.

This place was great! Fantastic location in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the downtown and the hospital/college but far enough away to not have all of the noise. We absolutely loved the house, it was so cute. Communication with the property owner was fantastic. We will likely book this location for our next visit.

Great property

We were in town for my son's wedding and needed a place to land for four days. This property offered up everything we needed to be comfortable during our stay. The location is very nice and we felt safe the entire stay. The neighborhood is quiet and close to everything you need. If you don't mind walking, you could certainly reach everything by foot. We hosted a small brunch at the property for family members the morning after the wedding and received many compliments on the overall appearance and functionality of the property. Many were able to sit outside, while others were in the kitchen and dining room. My favorite areas of the house were the great kitchen and the awesome upstairs shower. Thanks for a great experience in Iowa City. We would definitely use this property again.

Holiday Rendezvouz for family

This was just right for our holiday family rendezvous. Katie was very responsive, even shoveling the driveway in time for the last carload to arrive. Would definitely stay again.

Cute small house, well located

Much cuter and nicer than the photos looked! Great space. Small bedrooms, but nice communal spaces. Would prefer standard height dining table & dining chairs, the tall ones are very uncomfortable. Had an initial issue getting checked in, but was solved fairly quickly. Nice host.

Great place

Very nice, clean home close to downtown. Neighborhood was quiet (even though we were there Halloween weekend.) We found a couple of local, delicious coffee shops-Java House and The Press that we really liked. We would stay here again.
