Clean and spacious chalets with friendly hosts

8 of us stayed for 3 nights in two two-bedroom chalets. The rooms were spacious with three queen size beds in each chalet. The bedsheets were clean and the beds were comfortable. Basic toiletries were provided as well. The homestay is a perfect getaway from the busy city’s life - fresh air, homegrown mushrooms and durians, live farm birds, cat, swimming pool. The hosts were especially friendly, we engaged their services to drive us around; they brought us to enjoy good local food. Wifi was weak in one of the chalets but on the positive side, it was the perfect time to get away from the internet and experience nature living.

Nice environment within the resort's compound

I would recommend this place for those with a short 1-2 nights stay because it's quiet, nice, fairly green environment would be pleasant for a weekend getaway. It's quite a hidden 'gem'. Not much activities to do except wondering around the guesthouse area to see the mushroom farm especially for those who have never seen how to grow a mushroom! There's a small lake which is not yet ready for any activities. There's a seat outside each unit for a chat with tea/coffee. We booked a 2-bedroom executive chalet for 8 guests and so we have a 'kitchen' unit and 'lounge' area to sit outside the bedrooms! There's no towels provided but you can request for one from the reception with a charge of RM 2/towel. Overall our 1-night stay there was pleasant but difficult to find Malay food nearby. The reception gave us a map indicating Malay restaurants but none of them were opened (on Saturday evening)! So you have to travel a little bit further into Ipoh town to find food.

1) Air-cond not enough cool 2) A cockroach crawl on me while i'm sleeping (my baby girl just beside me) i forced to catch it with my hand coz it trying to crawl on my baby. Omg! 3)when out from the room/houses,u will feed mosquitoes. Besides the above two issues,others is good and satisfied. friendly staff,home feeling & comfortable room and bedding. Will come back to try the bungalow type with jagucci.
