10/10 Excellent

"We loved our stay at North Shore. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. There was a little sitting place outside to sit and enjoy the weather or let the kids play and the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean and you can open the windows to let the breeze in. Again this place was amazing. If I ever make it back to Salem Mass I’ll definitely be staying here again."

"The shuttle service was extremely helpful since we did not have a car! It was also convenient that they could take us to a subway station so we could go into the city. All of the shuttle drivers were polite and helpful. The room size was good and the bathroom size could actually fit two persons at one time. The bed was comfortable . I asked for a quiet room and we were assigned one closer to the main road than I would have preferred. The hotel was jammed packed of guests so I didn't request a room change. The outlets on one of the bed side tables were loose and I had to make sure I didn't bump my cords or they wouldn't connect. We let the front staff know about this when we checked out. There was only one elevator working at the time (they were working on the second one) which backed up people and took longer to use. The price for the the two bottles of water we purchased was outrageous. Breakfast was the usual."

Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Boston - Peabody by IHG

"This hotel is a bit pricey, but the location is fabulous. We could walk to the Pubic Garden, Boston Common, and Freedom Trail. There is also a Green Line stop about a block away and other lines a few blocks more. I was expecting a small room, but we got upgraded to a corner room, which was very spacious. The onsite restaurant is also outstanding—best lobster bisque ever!"

Best Western Plus North Shore Hotel

8/10 Good

"The location of this hotel was wonderful for our plans (Boston, Salem, Gloucester). Our beds were very uncomfortable the first night but we mentioned it to Bob and the mattresses were swapped with others that day. Breakfast was good with several options. The water pressure in shower was very light and one elevator was out of order so it made for longer waits."
