"We booked this hotel for our last night in Sri Lanka and it was by far the most rundown hotel we have stayed in. We booked the most expensive ($260 per night) room that they offered “ beach villa”. The room was in poor condition and looked nothing like a villa. Tv didn’t work and bed sheets were old and room was not clean. Ac blows directly on the bed so you can choose to either be freezing or be super hot. The hotel is on the beach but far from easy access to anything near by. Dinning options...

"We have spent great days in Jetwing Ayurveda Pavillions. All staff - without exception - are completely dedicated, passionate and know exactly what they are doing. Being almost two meters tall, I was worried, that I would not get enough food - talked to the doctor about this. She then instructed the kitchen to prepare bigger portions for me. This allowed me to enjoy great food, in sufficient quantities. Looking forward to returning some day!"

"The pool is fantastic and the staff are extremely warm and welcoming. The gardens are pretty and our room was spacious, clean and the air conditioning, bed and shower were all good. The entertainment amenities (bikes, golf, tennis, games room etc) are very dated and could use a refresh - but we were mainly there for the pool and to break up the journey to Wilpattu after flying into Colombo, so it was fine for us and what we needed. "The overall experience was satisfying. Breakfast and dinner had a decent spread and to top it up the food was quite tasty. We enjoyed the breezy weather and the endless garden area which gave us ample space gaze around. Friendly staff."

"Wonderful stay. We were a group of 6 across 3 rooms, and all 3 rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is a short walk to the main street and beach. The staff were excellent - service was really above and beyond. Breakfast was good and reasonably priced, and the pool was very clean and enjoyable with a few sun loungers to relax on. Recommend!"
