We stayed here for our kids ski camp, location was perfect. We loved seeing the hill and hearing the snow guns across the street. The chalet suited our needs but is older. If you have mobility issues this might not be the place for you as it requires steep steps to get into. Didn’t bother us but something to note. Bedrooms are small with little storage and living area is small. We loved the wood fireplace and extra blankets.
Our trip was nice and you can’t get any better of a location. We were able to ski and walk back to the house for lunch. The property manager was very good with preparing us for our arrival and checking in after we left. The beds were not comfortable and should be replaced. The house sleeps as listed but it is tight quarters in the kitchen and living area so you really need to like the people you travel with. It was our first time at Ski Brule and we were a party of 8 and we all agreed next year we need a slightly bigger home for our group.
This property suited our needs to a “T.” Thank you for hosting us!

Unfortunate experience
Our stay can only be described as disappointing. Initially, the property was very accommodating, as we had a last minute change to our plans due to weather and we were able to change our arrival day without issue. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. Upon arrival, we noticed that the floors, bathrooms, and counters were unclean. There is also a massive ladybug infestation (apparently affecting the entire area). But, the most disgusting part was folding back the sheets on ALL BEDS, only to find dirt, hairs, and clearly worn sheets that had not been changed. We ended up sleeping on towels on top of the mattresses, as no extra sheets were present in the home. Our contact was pleasant and empathetic but offered no refund for our experience (we are not refund chasers and rarely leave reviews). Photos of all issues were provided to property management. Note: we were offered the unit next door (duplex) only to find that it was in similar/worse shape, so we did not move.
It should be noted that we are aware that the UP is modest by any standards - we own a house there and know that accommodations can be dated and minimal, so our verdict is not clouded. This property needs immediate improvements for the health, safety, and well being of their guests.
