Nice place. People were friendly. Was a nice getaway from everyday city life. The movie selection was amazing. Only wish it had been more secluded. But other than that, it's was a great time.
The property is very nice, smells wonderful when you walk in and found everything to be clean. We had a wonderful time sitting by the fire each night and the river was peaceful and relaxing. I do want to let future renters know that there is no cell service for Verizon at this location, but you can drive a few miles down the road and get cell service.
Pictures are accurate. It is small but imo price reflects thats. Showers were hot, refrigerator cold, gas grill worked great. I’m told the beds slept great. I had the pull out bed, those never are great, but better than a tent. If you have Verizon, you will have no signal here, AT&T, you will be in luck. We would stay here again for our annual fishing trip.
We loved our time here.We had a great week of fishing, making fires, grilling good food, and spending time together without the noise of the world for just a little while. The area is the just the right amount of ‘remote’. Relaxing around the fire overlooking and listening to the running river was a peak experience. The cabin itself just felt instantly cozy and familiar, almost like experiencing nostalgia for a place we’ve never been. One of the nights got pretty rainy, so we got to enjoy the huge DVD collection as well. Kitchen is well stocked, everything was clean. The owner Jim was friendly and communicative, offering information about the area for fishing, shopping and any questions we had about the property.Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We look forward to our next trip here.
Very clean, accurate as advertised. Only issue was unexpected road construction.

Great but not amazing.
Too much furniture. None of the furniture was comfortable to sleep on. Didn't know that stretch of river was fly only. Although, it was very peaceful and quiet.
Upgraded trailer right on the Little Manistee River. We liked sitting in the comfy chairs on the dock, watching the water flow by. There was no cell service in the House but plenty of bars just outside on the deck and dock. House got pretty hot, so we used the 2 AC window units, which were fine. Would have been nice to have AC unit in the bedrooms. I know it's up north, but hot days are becoming more frequent and will be more so in the future.

Perfect for dogs
It's a perfect place to stay if you have pets. It's a rustic cabin so the dogs really couldn't damage anything.
Everything about our stay went swimmingly. The area was very peaceful & met some lovely local folks in town. I would definitely recommend this property for anyone looking for a quiet adventure in the woods. The rumbling of the river flowing by was an added bonus.
P.S. our pups equally enjoyed their stay! 🐶🐶
