Enjoy this beautiful Victorian built in 1915. Minutes away from the many state parks as well as restaurants, coffee shop and Shepherd Mountain Bike Park. Located at the south base of shepherd mountain. Walking distance to Main Street and all activities happening in town. Enjoy the spacious patio with fire pit and grill. Mornings with coffee on the wrap around porch are can’t miss. Large yard for your enjoyment. We live close by and offer transportation to and from the train station

Perfect for Multi-Generational Vacay

Perfect location for all the nearby state parks. Bedrooms are generous sized areas so individuals could have some down-time in their own area if they wished. We loved it and would stay again.

Beautiful Victorian, very well maintained, comfy, with tons of room. This house has it all. Hosts are very accommodating, friendly and attentive. Neighborhood has tons of history and you can’t beat the beautiful Arcadia Valley to destress and relax.

Heart is in The Valley

This place is awesome! Very clean and the house is in great condition. Tons of room and king beds in 3 of the bedrooms. We really enjoyed the front porch with our morning coffee and the fire pit in the evening. Our host was very accommodating, attentive and friendly.

Spacious House

The Sutton House was the perfect place to stay after a full day on the Black River. The house was huge and so clean! The owner had quick communication and there were so many wonderful little extras. The house is extremely well stocked! We did not need to bring anything or do anything. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area.

Great location, easy to get to several of the state parks and attractions. So much to do in this area! The house was very clean and really charming, beautiful kitchen renovation and great outdoor area with fire pit. The owners were very communicative and friendly. Great place to stay!

Amazing!

This house was even better in person, they thought of everything to make your stay so comfortable and easy. The house is so beautiful, down to every small detail. We cannot wait to stay here again!! The owners are so nice and accommodating. And they even have a non profit store a few blocks from the house. I would highly recommend this house to anyone. Thank you so much!!

Tina was wonderful!! We had a mixup with Vrbo and she helped us work through it. The house itself was clean with very comfortable beds all in an excellent location. We look forward to visiting again!

Great location

We were there to take care of some final details after the death of a relative. The house was very comfortable, great location to our relative’s home and very close to great eating options. There had been a water issue at the plant so the town was under a boil order, our host was most accommodating making sure we had plenty of bottled water to make our stay stressless. Thank you for a calm, comfortable place to stay while we dealt with family matters.

An adorable property with everything we needed in the kitchen. Including tea and coffee. Everything for the bbq and fire pit were also on site which was nice. A stack of games and Netflix available. Comfy beds. Plenty of space for 8 adults. Quick communication from the owner. Watch your step from the laundry into the kitchen. It took a few of us out. We had a lovely stay and were sad to leave.

Stayed at the Sutton House while in town for a wedding at the Arcadia Academy. Plenty of room for the whole family. Host Tina was very responsive to every question and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you.

Father's day trip

We came with another family and stayed at the beautiful Sutton home for Father's day weekend and really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean, had everything we needed, plenty of space, and there was great communication with the host. All the kids asked if we can come back again and stay at the same house sometime!

Mema Camp

We brought our four granddaughters to Ironton for part of our annual Mema camp. This was a great place for us to stay for easy access to Johnson Shut-ins and Elephant Rock State Park. The house was perfect for what we needed and the girls loved playing outside in the lawn.
