Clean & Cozy family friendly cabin close to the Porcupine Mountains~

Beautiful cabin with a view of Lake Superior. Its a perfect base camp for exploring the Porcupine Mountain State Park. Sleeps 4 people with 1 queen and 1 double bed. air-conditioning, Roku TV, WiFi, full kitchen and bath. There is also a washer/dryer.

Bed Linens, towels, dishes, utensils, and a coffee pot are provided.
Also has a large propane grill and outside seating with fire pit for enjoying a bonfire.

This is the perfect location for an Upper Peninsula vacation. Very nicely decorated, clean, and spacious lodge within a short distance to many wonderful things to do to keep you occupied.

Stayed here Feb 2018 and now again Jan 2025. Both times the place was neat, clean, well equipped and the hosts were great. To note - different hosts each time but ownership stayed in the family. Excellent location when taking in all that the Porkies has to offer. Will be staying again in the future.

Anniversary get away

We visited several waterfalls throughout the U.P. along with Porcupine Mountain and fall colors. The cabin was far better than we thought it would be and beat any hotel stay hands down. Would definitely recommend this place!

Definitely will be back. A perfect location that was one of the cleanest, beautifully decorated I’ve ever stayed in. Hosts are wonderful and kind. Highly recommend.

This place is a dream! Hosts have gone above and beyond to give guests a sparkling clean, beautifully appointed, comfortable cabin. Everything you could possibly want is thoughtfully provided. I loved this place and hope to stay here again.

Wonderful property!!

The house is perfectly located near everything yet far enough away in a peaceful setting. The house is adorably decorated, very clean and well maintained. Everything you need can be found inside. An added bonus-There were constant hummingbirds outside the windows!

Wonderful Cabin Retreat

This was our third time staying at Rainbow Lodging. We've stayed in both cabins and they are both wonderful! The cabins are cozy, warm, and inviting. Matt and Brandi have thought of every amenity you could possibly want. They're hosts who genuinely care about their guests, checking in frequently (but not too much) to see if you need anything. A perfect 'home base' for exploring the Porkies.

This was our second year stay at Rainbow Lodge. Once again, we would gladly give this place a 5+ star rating. Everything you could possibly need is already included in this home away from home. The owners, Matt and Brandi are quick to respond with any questions or concerns you may have and so very helpful. Waking up to the sounds of Lake Superior, directly across the street is divine. And not only watching hummingbirds just outside the kitchen window but hearing their motors roar while sitting outside on the porch has its own fun. And out back, what a perfect way to relax after a day of hiking and exploring the area at the firepit with plenty of wood to keep that fire going until the wee hours of the morning. Also perfect was having a washer & dryer at our disposal which meant packing less and coming home with clean clothes. What a concept! No matter if you're a hiker, biker, explorer or just looking for some much needed R&R... this IS your place.

Meticulous and Comfortable

Appreciated that the cabin was clean, comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with decent pans, utensils and dishes. We were able to have a couple fires with the wood provided too. Great place to stay

Porkies perfection

If you're looking for a cozy but complete cabin close to the Porcupine Mountains, this is the place. We wondered if the location off the main highway would be noisy, but it was not. The cabin is set back far enough, you hardly notice any traffic.

Perfect Cozy Cabin & Gateway to Adventure

This cabin was everything I needed for a few days in the Porkies and surrounding area! It was very clean, adorably decorated, and the hosts had clearly thought of everything! Great location near the entrance to the Porkies and Lake of the Clouds with a peep of Lake Superior across the road.

BESTEST cabin!!

We found this cabin to be ideal and had everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Inordinately clean. Very attractive decor in and out. Great functional space. Best equipped. This cabin has been lovingly cared for. Seeing in person was even better than the very attractive pictures online. Even the communication with the hosts was personable and exceptional. It was so close to Porcupine Mountain State Park and two very good restaurants. The BESTEST is the only word to describe the cabin and our stay there. Thank you!!!
