Esplendor by Wyndham Isla Mujeres All Inclusive Resort
4/10 Poor
"We recently stayed at Hotel Beló for 5 days, 4 nights. The property is beautiful, and the staff was always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. You can tell the hotel has a lot of potential.
Unfortunately, we experienced several maintenance issues during our stay. We had to move rooms three different times because the air conditioning was not working properly. We also had problems with the toilet, and there were times when little to no water came out of the shower or sink.
The rooms themselves were nice and clean, but the beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable for us.
Overall, the staff did their best to help, and the hotel has many positive qualities. However, addressing the air conditioning, plumbing, water pressure, and bed comfort issues would greatly improve the guest experience."
Impression Isla Mujeres by Secrets – Adults only – All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at Impressions Isla Mujeres. The resort is beautiful, the food was excellent, and the service was top-notch.
A huge thank you to Lalo and especially Rafa, our butler. Rafa was the best butler we’ve ever had and made everything easy, from reservations to helping us recover a swimsuit we accidentally left behind.
The staff made our celebration extra special, and we can’t wait to come back. If possible, request Rafa, he’s amazing!"
Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres Cancun, Adult All-Inclusive
6/10 Okay
"almare truly is a beautiful resort. We loved relaxing by the beach, on the balcony of our room, or even next to the pool.
The food is very good, though options are limited. The best places were the food truck for lunch and the pool bar restaurant, all so good and best service. Guacamole was so good. Drinks weren't great if you drink the alcohol.
Everyone was friendly. Staff always said hello and smiled.
The boat ride to Isla mujeres was quick, which was nice. Great to not have to be on the public ferry for sure. And the captain was extremely nice.
We took a molcajete class, an excursion to the gorgeous cemetery and church. And we took part in the mixology class where we made a delightful cocktail. We love it when we are able to experience things at the hotel itself. There were several activities we would have liked to do, but we had other things going on off-site during those times.
Lovely time. beautiful property.
Got Montezuma's revenge because we couldn't get additional water in our room. Which was too bad. And none of the bars or coffee shop had bottled water either. So, getting water outside of ordering in a restaurant was a bit of an issue."
"You pay $350 a night and you expect a resort that is well maintained. Everything from beach chairs to the rooms were in poor condition. If I was paying one third of I paid I wouldn't complain and I usually don't write reviews but in this case I had to do it. Mold in the showers, you name it they have it. Complete top to bottom renovation they need for the price that they are charging."
