"We had a very nice time staying at Torre Mar. It was very conveniently located. We were 5 families...me (the mom) and my 4 kids, their spouses and 6 grandkids. Everyone had their own "suite". The advertising is a little confusing. I thought we were renting a "home", and then realized it was an apartment/hotel....but as I said, it was very nice for each family to have private space. The owner John was very friendly, although we did have some miscommunication issues, which is interesting...

"Perfect start to finish. Very clean! Drinking water provided. The host helped us with a small hiccup regarding our transfer so we were able to catch the ferry to San Cristóbal with no problem. Highly recommend!"

"Large property - 3 bed rooms and 3-1/2 bathrooms. It was an excellent value. The home had fantastic air conditioning - which we really appreciated after a long day of excursions. There was plenty of filtered water and the washing machine was a bonus. In terms of negatives: - No WiFi (but the host was clear about this from the beginning) - No mirrors over sinks (had to use our phone’s camera to shave) - Dogs barking at night - No hot water in the morning - No address - difficult to explain...

"We stayed 3 nights in the "casa grande" associated with the Galapagos Pearl Hotel and could not have been more pleased.
