Tranquil

This is exactly what we wanted, peaceful and remote. Great views and amazing property! The owner was so helpful from getting us there to making sure everything was set up. We would go back without hesitation!

Nice, relaxing trip!

Had a very nice, relaxing time. Cabin was clean and organized. The road getting to the cabin was off roading so AWD/4WD SUV/Truck is required. The lake was relaxing, the fire pit was great. The dog loved it. Jerry’s is the grocery store in town and was fantastic. Highly recommend.

we had a good stay

Nice cabin, comfortable and a beautiful setting. The lake is very nice with little activity, totally quiet, not another cabin within sight. This was our first experience at off-grid and that presented some challenges. The road from town to the cabin is not suitable for a low slung car, 4 or AWD would be best.

Relaxing & secluded retreat in lakefront cabin

You can spend the day canoeing on the lake or off-roading with you ATV or Jeep on the surrounding trails. Nights under the stars by the camp fire listening to nature sounds. I wanted a relaxing trip off the beaten path and this place delivered. The cabin had everything needed for my stay, right down to the boat shoes and bug spray. Host did a great job setting the place up for a truly authentic and memorable experience.

Off the grid living

This is a great getaway for people looking to try that rustic living . The solar is not the most reliable but the generator back up makes it easy to charge the batteries.

Quiet spot right on the lake

It’s a camp. That means it’s less “bougie” than a motel or whatever. That said, I’ve been spending lake time in a camp all my life, and this one is really nice. You can drive to it (some of the camps on this lake are boat access only), it has a yard, an outdoor grill, a dock, a canoe, a kayak, a paddle board, and two bicycles. It has solar-powered electricity with a back-up generator. It has WiFi and TV! The refrigerator was good and cold, the shower water was plentiful and hot, the bed was comfortable.Honestly we had no complaints and we will definitely stay here again. We’ll offer a couple thoughts for those less camp-experienced though: we did run the generator for an hour or two each day, when the solar power ran out. The access road and the driveway are a bit rough and rocky, so 4WD is good. And there are a couple LED lights, but like most camps it can get a little dark.Oh, and the property managers live right down the road, and couldn’t have been more helpful. They gave a nice, half-hour orientation that helped us feel confident about the specifics of how this camp operates.
