"Great place to relax and enjoy the lake! We especially loved the screened in porch/deck and the chairs set up on the lower level. Easy to get on the water. There are amenities very close if you need groceries, bait or want to go for coffee. There is a gem of an antique store nearby as well. We hope to return!"

"We enjoyed staying at Camp David. Very relaxing for us. Was nice to have the boat too. Worked great with our electric trolling motor to cruise around the lake a bit. We'd stay again if plans had us in the area and was available."

"Once we initially arrived, the neighbor “Karen” was wagging her finger at us telling us we aren’t allowed to party. Mind you we just got there and she didn’t even know who we are. That was really the only inconvenience. We brushed it off anyway and still had a fantastic time. Beautiful cabin from wall to wall. The location is very nice. The stairs down to the water is a bit steep but didn’t stop us at all."

"Property is a mixed bag. Good things are REALLY good. Great pool, access to lake for paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, etc, clean, private, big common area, and 2 large refrigerators. Host responded to all of my queries promptly. Based on those things our family had a great time. However when we arrived at 4:00 PM on our first night, the thermostat said 83. We checked to make sure cool air was coming through vents and we had trouble finding vents. The house has been built piece-meal and that appears to be part of the problem. The air-conditioning, as is, does not keep the house cool. It was working, because in the middle of the night it would cool down to 75 or so, but during the day we couldn’t get it any cooler than 81 which made for a stifling experience indoors. One of our family members is the chief engineer at a Weston Hotel. He did not see any point to calling, because it’s the set up not that it wasn’t working. Issue two was the place needs some repair. The major couch is obviously broken, and it has been reviewed as such but not taken care of. Wood chairs outside have cracked slats and are dangerous for people to sit on. Furniture needs painting. Also, some very quirky things like shower heads that come up to your chest and bathrooms you walk through closets to access. Check your bill carefully. We were initially overcharged 200 for early arr./late dep. Luckily we caught it, then we requested it. We were declined and promptly asked for refund, which we received."

"Our stay was wonderful and the property was perfect for the weekend we were looking to have!Communication before our stay was prompt and clear and I felt like I was prepared for everything. The amenities were great, the property was clean and well decorated. We had everything we needed, the dock was a lovely place for us to spend the beautiful and hot summer days. We loved the paddleboards and kayaks and the fire pit at night.We couldn't have asked for a better experience - highly recommend!"

"We had a great 4th here! Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Fantastic firework show on the lake as well! Fishing was great and plenty of ways to get out on the water despite their not being public boat access! We have zero complaints!"
