Location was perfect for this outing. The vintage snowmachine show was close by as were many great places to eat. Property was clean, cozy, and kitchen was well appointed. Could use a larger tv in the living room.
Beautiful area with a hot tub. Close to the entrance of the island.
Had fun on lake with kayaks and paddle boards into the brief window of good weather.
We had a nice stay at this cabin. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Downside was no ac or a garbage disposal. Those are minor. Thank you for a pleasant stay.
We spent five nights at this property, spent three days in Yellowstone national park. it was a 45 minute drive from the cabin to the park cabin was clean and comfortable as advertised. I would highly recommend this property to any who are looking for an enjoyable, quiet and peaceful stay thank you for allowing us to enjoy your cabin
The home was comfortable and cozy. plenty of space to relax and it had a bright, airy, yet homey feel. hot tub was great. the whole property was clean and family friendly.
I found check out instructions hard, as they asked us to wash the towels and strip all the beds before we left. I did it, but it took time...
Our large extended family of 18 came together for a family reunion. We ended up having to rent 2 houses on Bill's Island to fit us all. This house was perfect for the 5 of us that stayed there. It was quiet and very pleasant and a great fit for my elderly parents. Only negative was controlling of temperature - it was a bit confusing.
Otherwise a great house - very clean, well stocked and very cozy. Thank you!
This was our second year staying at this cabin. It’s very cozy and roomy. Kitchen is well equipped but some items need replaced or updated. We were in island park for the vintage snowmachine show, which this cabin was ideally located near to. We would’ve given it 5 stars except for the fact that we had to shovel snow to get into the home. The hot tub was also inaccessible because of the snow so didn’t get used.
Beautiful cabin and amazing location. Very clean and well stocked. Perfect winter wonderland for a Christmas away from home. Some of the best snowmobiling we’ve ever experienced. Would definitely come again!
Great location less than an hour from West Yellowstone. Property was as listed. We did clean/bleach the bath tubs ourselves, the jets had some dirt or mold around them. I would stay here again.
Cabin was just the right size for our family. Comfortable, with a pretty well stocked kitchen. Close enough to fun activities to make it super convenient. We found some trash under some of the beds. Other than that it was pretty well maintained. We would stay here again.

Cabin on Bill's Island
Cabin was adequate. It accommodated what we needed. Check in instructions were confusing. We had a couple of needs and the local person was great to work with.
Perfect Location and great cabin for an awsome vacation
The purpose for renting this house was to rest after long days of exploring Teton and Yellowstone. I enjoyed the drive to the parks from this house, so much scenary. The house itself have great views to mountains and it is located un a lake, you will feel that you are in an island. Pictures are very accurate, I wish I have had more time to visit this area, but the parks took most of my time. Still excellent house to stay. Me and my group loved it.

Fantastic Location
Loved the location, love Bills Island. Home has an amazingly stocked kitchen!!!
There was an issue with the refrigerator and the owner came by the next day and brought us another fridge to use until the new one could be repaired. Grateful he responded quickly and took care of the situation, very nice guy.
We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed time with our family of 14! Plenty of sleeping space and comfy beds.
*This cabin is listed as 3 full baths with showers, however, it is only 2 full baths and a toilet in the mud room.
The only issue we had was with check in. I considered docking a star but everything else was great and I'm sure the property owners will fix the issue (the lockbox is not properly labeled). Outside of that, the cabin was amazing and clean and just like the pictures. Surrounded by woods and a lake (frozen when we went), it's just the experience we wanted. The hot tub was also amazing and we also watched Home Alone on VHS which was a nice old-school touch. We recommend the drive down to Mesa Falls, huge waterfall that is nearby, and also a bison burger down at the Lodge. We'll be returning for sure! The stars at night were great and the kitchen is fully stocked for plenty of cooking.
The place is simply amazing.
I am not sure what previous reviewers were complaining about the. The key was exactly where the instructions said it would be. Very simple.
Very private location. There is another cabin on one side but plenty of distance and trees. There was about 4-5 feet of snow on the ground during our stay but the BIA kept the roads and driveways easy to use. It is hard to describe just how quiet it was.
Cabin itself is beautiful with a lot of character. Beds were comfortable and the linens and pillows were fresh. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed...even a few grocery items....though you will have to bring your own food of course.
We enjoyed the hot tub while the snow was falling. Even saw a couple of red foxes about 40-50 feet outside the front door. Simply stunning.
We will be back. This will be our winter retreat place for years to come.

Not Ideal- rodents and vomit
The property was one of three we rented for a family reunion. The cabin was ok and the location wasn't bad, but the rules and procedures were way over the top. They insisted on knowing the names and ages of everyone staying there and would not allow visitors. Definitely not ideal for use as part of our reunion. Many rules were posted in the cabin, including multiple sets of inconsistent check out procedures. It very much made the family members staying there feel like they were guests in someone else's cabin rather than on vacation in a cabin that we paid plenty to rent. There were also issues with cleanliness and rodents. They pulled out the "clean" sofa bed to find it full of vomit. We typically try not to write negative reviews, but this place was one of the few things we would have changed an otherwise really great reunion in Island Park.
Beautiful cabin. Hot tub was ready for us when we got there. There aren’t 3 full bathrooms, there’s 2 full bathrooms and a half bath (toilet & sink). We really loved the loft area for the kids.
This was our 3rd year renting this property for our family get together. Throughly enjoyed our time there.

Not a complainer but …….
Lock box at gate wasn’t where it was supposed to be so had to call and wait to be let in. Instructions listed lock box in middle of first row but was then told it might be in a different row and that sometimes rain washed off writing. Property was outdated and dirty. Called about mold in showers, cobwebs on kitchen cabinet, dirty kitchen sink, very dirty outside porch and furniture, etc, and was told they don’t have time to deep clean between visits. I asked why, especially during Covid, and I was told they have to wash sheets and towels(which were very dingy and threadbare), and don’t have time to deep clean. Mold in showers and cobwebs in kitchen aren’t considered deep cleaning to me. I could overlook the very dusty/nasty baseboards, outside porch, etc., but moldy showers are unacceptable. When went to make coffee, used coffee grounds from renters before us had been left in filter. I called right after we entered house but never had anyone offer to come clean or fix ice maker or remedy any situation. I only got excuse that they don’t have time between renters. As many times as we have rented through VRBO, this is only house I would NOT rent again. We paid more money to rent this house because appeared to be nicer than others we considered so we were very disappointed, especially with cleanliness. I expected some kind of remedy but service obviously wasnt concerned enough to clean or do anything
It was the first visit to Bill's Island for my family. We have been to Island Park yearly for 20 years now. It was a lovely cabin . The hot tub was great! The space was wonderful inside the cabin. All 14 of us could gather very comfortably. We enjoyed the thunder and lightning storm that gave us a time to use that space. The fridge on the deck was at first awkward, but we finally figured out how to make our family circle. Truely the only thing that would have made the trip better, was a fire pit. We really missed not having one. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. We did have a great time!
This is a beautiful cabin on an island. It is very secluded and quiet! The cabin is gorgeous and has a hot tub! It's only 40 minutes to the west entrance of Yellowstone. We loved it and hope to return some day!!
Our stay was great. The hot tub was a plus, as we were there early in the year, with snow still on the ground. The kids however wouldnt sleep in the loft, they said the beds were uncomfortable. They slept on the floor instead. They looked pretty sad and lumpy. And, I wished the TV up there would have worked. The kids didnt want to hang out up there like we all hoped they would. The rest of the beds were good. Beware of the master bedroom bathroom. The window is not as private as you think! If you're in the shower, the people on the deck get quite a show! Also, I wished there would have been a few kids toys and books to help entertain them. The kitchen was well stocked and there was plenty of towels. We had a nice stay. We would rent there again.
