Clean, Spacious, Comfortable Cabin for Families with Pets
Chose this place because it fit our large family of 15 with a dog and it had ample sleeping and lounging space that it can easily fit more! Everything seemed pretty new/well-kept and clean. Bathrooms and kitchen were luxurious. There are neighboring cabins close by but it didn’t seem like anyone was around this time. We wish we came at a warmer season so we can fully enjoy the many decks, grill, fire pit, and river. So we opted for the jacuzzi and many board and arcade games inside.
Tips: As a pet friendly place, there might’ve been a cat previously because one of our cat-sensitive family members got bad allergies while only inside the cabin. Be careful of the uneven steps up to the second floor- everyone tripped multiple times while going up the first night but thankfully it was soft thick carpet. Also there’s no stove hood so make sure to open windows to prevent the kitchen from getting too smoky when cooking. It can get confusing getting there at night/during a storm so try to arrive before dark.
Hosts were very organized, communicative, and helpful. Overall, very impressed and highly recommend it!
Being on the shallow river was big fun for kids and adults alike. Plenty of accommodations and amenities for our family of 14. The upstairs is a little warm. There is only one window AC unit upstairs facing the river. There are ceiling fans that help. No grab bars in showers for us old folks.Would we do it again? Absolutely.
The cabin was well stocked, clean and comfortable. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Loved to sit on the deck and watch the river after a long day of outdoor activities. It was very relaxing.
The cabin was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our large family. The kitchen has everything you need. Bedrooms are comfortable and roomy. Views are beautiful.
We loved our stay at the Buffalo River House. It was in a great location with beautiful views of the river and was in close proximity to Yellowstone. The house was clean, spacious and we were supplied with all the amenities we needed. We even had a moose visit us on our first night! The hosts were very informative and responded in a very timely manner!
This house was one of the BEST VRBOs we have stayed in. The house was so clean and fully stocked. They had everything you could possibly need, including kids plates, cups and utensils. The wildlife around the house was amazing! We got to see moose, elk, and owls and deer on the driveway. The drive into Yellowstone was a simple straight shot into the park with beautiful views along the way.we highly recommend this VRBO!
We had family from a few different states meet here for Thanksgiving. We loved everything about the cabin. It’s very spacious for large groups. We would have loved to write in the guestbook, but couldn’t find one. The hosts were very responsive when needed. We would definitely stay here again!
Beautiful property. Great hot tub & can’t beat the river view from the back deck. Enjoyed a campfire each evening. Very comfortable with plenty of room for everyone. Very spacious kitchen with quality cooking utensils & appliances. Horse back riding at the Harriman Trail Rides was awesome!! Finding the hidden moose at the home was a blast for the kids. Highly recommend this wonderful home for family vacations.
What a lovely property on the Buffalo River! All 10 of us from ages 14-77 loved this super clean, well-stocked house with a beautiful view of the river off the back deck. Ali and Jeremy have thought of everything from extra camp chairs to board games to soft, snuggly throws for chilly nights. We loved having a true “home base” to explore Yellowstone and Grand Teton. We didn’t see a lot of wildlife there but throughout the region you’ll see a lot! Don’t miss the Mesa Falls Scenic Drive - the Upper Falls trail did not disappoint! Bonus for us - the downstairs master with en-suite bathroom for our older family members, with an easily accessible shower off the kitchen as well. Book this wonderful property - you will love it too!
