This hotel is in a very dirty and unsafe neighborhood. The street Infront of the hotel is very narrow and crowded. The area is very unsafe and dirty. After we were checked in at the front desk, we went to the room. We were told that the room is none smoking which wasn’t true. Not only the room was smelled horrible, but it was also not cleaned too. There was nothing inside the bathroom. I mean no towels or other amenities. There was a supper dirty kettle on the table. When we informed the front desk, we were told that they have no room available until next day. Next morning when we woke up, there was no drop of water in the bathroom, when we called the front desk, we were told that there is no water in the tire area so there’s nothing they could do. It was one of the worst experiences I had in Istanbul. Our reservation was for three nights but I had to leave without any refund for the next two nights that I have paid but didn’t stay there

my belongings were stolen in 10 minutes i left the room to the reception.. the front desk gave the key of my room to the service person who entered the room and took my accessories which contained a gold ring and a silver bracelet.. my friend entered the room and was shocked to find him in the room putting things in his pocket.. we made complaints to the front desks.. they all escaped.. the camera recorded his entrance to the room at 3 am in the morning..

Pleasant stay
As I visited this same hotel other 3 times in the past, I can make an objective comparison. Other times was impeccably clean, this time a subtle (yet remanent) cigarette smell was present in the room. I remember this hotel has excellent breakfast. This time, due to Coronavirus, breakfast was cancelled. TV with no signal, fortunately WIFI signal was excellent. Also, the private parking worth a lot. Essentially, a pleasant stay, but not extraordinary. I hope that next time, after the Coronavirus crisis will be gone, they will came back to provide the excellent services , as I know they can do

Budget transit hotel
The area is centrally located and convenient to the main tourist attractions, which are easily accessible by tram. We booked a triple room which was tiny for a family. There's no space for luggage but we happened to be transiting overnight. Continental buffet breakfast was mainly eggs, cold cuts and vegetables. Sufficient for a transit hotel but definitely not for a longer stay.

Unless you are skint don't go here, it's not a hotel it's more like a hostel. And how it's rated 3 star I will never know. Also I booked a room for 4 nights by mistake which I agree is my fault. However within 2 minutes of realising what I had done I called to explain and was only refunded one night instead of the full two. Robbery!! Food was not good to be honest in my opinion I would not go here again and if you have kids stay away. The noise is outrageous!!

Breakfast is bad Also, I just need to know one thing how they rate it 4 stars ? We had big issues in this hotel not only me even other people were not happy about their stay there. Not clean, bad smell and very small bathroom.

If you want to just sleep somewhere that is ok, this hotel is a good place for you,hotel is safe and security cameras are everywhere! Located in central part of Istanbul... Yet smal rooms, you easily hear the next rooms noises. Definitely not a 4star hotel, no proper coffee or milk during breakfast.. wifi doesnot work, at all... they say they can’t do anything about it.

1 night accommodation booking late evening or midnight being thinking to be clever but getting left behind the other guests. sometimes it works out not to be too clever.

It is a nice hotel close to a tram metro station .
It is a nice hotel close to a tram metro station . It is situated in a street hardly 100 meters away from the road . The metro station is a in a centre so we go to every where in Europe side. But the service of the hotel is ok .There is on elevator or lift form the gate of the hotel to its lobby . The elevator is started from lobby . overall we gave to the hotel rating is 4 stars.

A lot of hair in the bed, sheets and towels
They need to upgrade their washers. There was a lot of hair in all sheets, towels and everything. At first I thought they didn't change them. But then they renewed them each day and all new towels were also full of hair

This ia bustling part of Istanbul - not with tourists but real people going about their business from all partners of Europe, buying and selling. Its a few stops on the tram from the Blue Mosque etc. and just 10 minutes walk (though it is a little tricky to find) from the metro (Aksaray) that brings you directly from the airport in 35 minutes. Done up recenty in glitzy local style, staff are very friendly, breakfast is fine, and the rooms are a good size.

I had one overnight stay. Initially had trouble locating as I had arrived a Yenicapi ferry port. The first 3 taxis that I asked refused to take me. The 4th charged me 40 TL take it or leave it !!. The hotel itself is modern,nicely decorated, and well mannered and friendly front desk staff.The room I had contained a very comfortable Queen size double bed. Everything in the room including the bathroom and fittings was new and attractively styled. However the room would be rather small for 2 people sharing. I would suggest that they produce a better location map showing Yenicapi and Aksaray Metro stations for people like me. I would stay in this hotel again.

Pleasant surprise!
My room was small but so comfortable, had a small fridge and even had a balcony. The view was lovely, too. I kept the balcony door open when I slept so call to prayers was a bit loud but didn't bother me. There is a/c, though. The breakfast buffet is wonderful. Great restaurant and other handy stores right on the block. Hotel is close to metro. The staff were outstanding. I highly recommend this hotel

Hotel near the Tram (transportation area)
Alfa hotel is very easier to find as the it's located near a tram station. Main tourist attraction places like Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque are about 10 minutes away from the hotel which is very convenient. The neighbourhood is safe I am able to walk a lone at night without any hesitation. However, there is a school close to the hotel and I am not able to sleep longer as I can hear the kids playing in school yards at 8 am which can be annoying at times.

IST airport Metro to Asksaray Metro - 30 mins. Walk from metro to hotel - 15 minutes. Was a bit difficult to find, it is in a safe neighborhood with great access to public transport. Room was very neat, new and clean but extremely small.

good for price. tiny room, tiny bathroom, tiny shower stall, but I'm glad with my choice coz I'm a clean freak and the room & bathroom were remodeled & clean. I wasn't afraid to touch surfaces. great water pressure, excellent drainage. tiny modern-style sink (bend over it to wash ur face, water splashes everywhere BUT in the sink), but clean was higher on my list than size so i managed. bed was comfortable altho linens were sparse. that was also ok since u have individual AC temp control- make it as cold or warm as u want. bare bones amenities like towels & shampoo, but I bring my own toiletries anyway. location was great for me. immediate surroundings are quite dingy so if ur not accustomed to middle eastern or third world streets and conditions, & u need a glossy valet area with manicured lawns etc, you probably shouldn't stay here. view from my room was the neighbor's balcony laundry so I just didn't open the curtains. ten min walk to aksaray tramway, & ten min walk to yusufpasa metro station. I actually walked (by accident) all the way to the hotel back from hagia sophia/blue mosque. it's a straight shot until the last 5 minutes when u turn off to walk up the hill (not steep) to the hotel. I was browsing shops for souvenirs & found I had walked back to hotel in a leisurely1.5 hours. lots of convenience stores and delis & food carts in immediate vicinity so you can get cheap eats & whatever snacks and toiletries you need-places were all open until past midnight on weekdays

La Wi-Fi avait des coupures importante sauf le salon, la chambre est simple mais mal entretenue ,entre autre, tapisserie en mauvaise état,la cuvette des WC hs impossible de l'utiliser.la tv est en langues turc, par contre les couloirs et accueillant.
