Cleaning needs improving - lots of hair: Hair in bed, floor, toilet. Bed sheets had hair and stains on it. Towels with stains. (Asked for new towels and sheets and this was fine). Check in was very quick. WiFi poor - fortunately I bought an esim. Breakfast staff were lovely. Breakfast is good and filling. Great location - 8mins walk to a tram stop, 20-25min walk to the main attractions. Great stay for a woman solo traveller. A little noisy in the room (from street and other guests). Overall I’d recommend for a budget stay.

Alphonse Hotel is an excellent place to stay if you want to go to Istanbul because its very close to the grand bazaar and other tourist places. This place offers great food and service. We are soooo glad we stayed here. If we come back this is my place to stay.

The staff are helpful and polite, Cleaning done everyday Air-conditioning system was peefect Furniture is new. Facility is covid safe and clean Location is perfect for nearby touristic sites. Price is reasonable Breakfast is basic but not bad. Didnt like, tge room sizes too small. Noise of street. Some day cigarate smoke smell from corridor level 2 The street is so crowed even late night.

The Hotel overall was very nice, very budget friendly and the staff there were extremely helpful, especially Isa the manager, a great person, very kind and spoke really good English.

Poor hygiene
The rooms were smelling and dirty, beds are so rubbish and the mattresses were uncomfortable, the bed sheet was so dirty and smelling and even duvet cover. The pictures of the hotel that you can see with the Hotels.com are the same but it is absolutely cleanliness.

Pros: location is close to grand bazar and tram and blue mosque, fair price, breakfast wasnt amazing but okat, staff was friendly. Cons: hotel is on a very busy small street, lots of cars honking and windows arent sealed well so its not ideal for light sleepers, rooms are very small and tight. Beds are very uncomfortable and bad, the first room we got i could feel the springs on the bed and the room smelled of smoke. Then they exchanged our room and it was slightly better. But beds were still bad and bed sheets not great either. The cleaning lady would only fix-the bed and maybe put new towels. Didn't clean the bathroom.

This hotel is budget friendly and the staff there were lovely. But i think they allow smoking, actually bed sheets and curtains were full of cigarettes’ smell. To be fare the location of this hotel and price are good.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights. Great experience it was Staff is very friendly and coperative. The location of the hotel stands out to be very convenient as most of the historical attractions, food street, shops and metro station are just few min away by walk. Breakfast is also very nice. Room sizes are small but it doesnt really matter if you are coming to Istanbul to spend most of the time outside. Best wishes

Special thanks at the reception desk Tufan and icsa Aissa great people very kind. Hotel is about 20 min walk some of the main attractions. The hotel had everything i needed and i really like the little hotel card they give you at check in with all the major attractions listed on the back..very handy i wish all hotels would do this.

really nice hotel
nice hotel close to yenikapi ferry terminal. area is very lively, historical center is also really close. the street is a little bit noisy and busy, but at night it calms down. my room was single, not so much space but enough. the bathroom was small but clean, and hot water was really hot. the room was warm and cozy (it was cold outside, at the beginning of march). i liked breakfast a lot, good variety and quality of food, every day there was something different. first there was some trouble with the kettle in my room, it was replaced in a few minutes. staff was really friendly and helpful. would gladly stay here again.

This place is per person, I believe all small hotels in the old section like this. I booked a room that has queen size bed that fits two, but they charge me for the second person.

I asked them to clean my room floor and they never did. the room size looked fairly big on hotel.com but indeed it was so tiny and couldn't even move around my bed. mattress was so thin and terrible and woke up with back pain every morning. staff are so mean and not friendly. toilet seat was dripping water constantly and they never fixed it. the only thing was good is the breakfast buffet.

Very nice helpful professional staff , clean hotel , good breakfast , room in very good condition , very decently located , about 12 minutes walking to blue mosque , about 10 minutes to beyazit and grand bazar and about 12 minutes to the metro station , many places to eat and buy groceries on a walking distance , you can easily find a taxi right outside the hotel too , overall very good clean place to stay at , I would definitely come back here again .

Well located and comfortable hotel
Alphonse Hotel is located in a busy city street, in walking distance to many main attractions. It is a 10 minute walk to the metro. The rooms are small, however have everything you need. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is excellent. We had two nights here at the start of our trip around Turkey and two at the end. The hotel was very happy to store some of our luggage. Good value for money.

Nice, small hotel near to all tourists attraction
Stay at this hotel for 6 days. staffs are very nice and helpful. Even though the room is quite small but it is clean with modern style room. Tram station and Grand bazaar is nearby. Main tourist attraction are all within walking distance.
