Its a great boutique hotel, 7min walk to Taksim Square and famous shopping strip. Rooms are huge, can leave 28" suitcase open on the floor and still have space to walk around = not common in Turkiye hotels. Theres a lift and stairs. Staff are helpful and can speak English. You can communicate with them via Whatsapp during your stay which was handy. Recommend.

Fantastic staff and location. A little difficult to roll heavy bags there because of the pavement but short distance from airport shuttle. I stayed here several times before and will come back. The only thing for me is that the bigger beds are two twin beds put together and I always ended up in the gap between the beds unless i sleep diagonally. Good value.

Great friendly and professional staff. Love the size of the bottles water - one big instead of two small ones. Great location. The only thing for me is perhaps I wish the double bed is not two twin beds put together. I could feel the gap so I ended up sleeping only on one side (one twin bed). Otherwise than that I love the people there - smiley faces.

Great staff and location - so much better than i had expected and i will definitely stay there again. And they are generous with bottle water which is great. The only thing i wish was different is an actual double bed instead of two twin beds pushed together. I still slept well but tended to fall into the gap between the two mattresses.

It was a nice hotel. Close to istiklal street and taksim square (access to transportation). Cozy with comfy beds. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Always request a room on a higher level in taksim cuz it gets loud at night outside.

I had a lovely stay at the Astan. I was there for 5 nights. I couldn't say a bad word about the hotel and I stay in a lot of 4*. I had a junior suite which was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The room had everything for a comfortable stay - a super comfy bed and bedding and black out blinds. There was even a coffee machine and fridge. The breakfast is also good. Not only was the room great but the staff are on helpful and friendly! They helped me a lot on my stay. I would definitley stay at the Astan again if I ever return back to Istanbul. The hotel is not far to walk from the Taksim bus stop either, if you are coming from the airport. Thanks for a wonderful stay Goker and team.

Location was wonderful
Pros: The location was tucked in a quiet area next to Istiklal. There was secured parking across the street. A 7 minute walk to the airport bus station in Taksim square. The staff was super. Very welcoming and understanding. Many shops, restaurants and grocery stores around. They had a nescafe machine in the room, where you can grab a coffee to go, which was very nice. Cons: The bathroom doors did not close all the way, so the entire floor was wet afterwards. There is a wooden stand inside the shower, definitely had mold on it. The terrace was completely dusty and the windows needed to be cleaned. My partner and I kept rolling into the dip in the middle of the bed due to the two twin beds pushed together. It was uncomfortable. Overall, it was nice for one night.

Everything about the hotel is great. Everyone speaks good English. They did everything they could to make me happy. The location is quiet yet very close to Taksim square. The only issue is that the wifi is so slow that it is unusable. I recommend that the owners should get faster internet connection and install better routers.

a pleasant stay
The hotel was very close to busy Taksim square but located in a quiet street. It's convenient for eating out, shopping and travel around. The room was large with nice furniture. The staff were very frinedly and helpful. They always greeted guests with enthusiasm.

Great place to stay
All was well and the check in was great. Very walkable distance to all nearby locations such as Taksim square. Only thing was the twin beds that were used to make a double was a little uncomfortable, otherwise the quality of the doona and pillows were excellent.

well Astan hotel has the perfect location right between the Istiklal street and the residential area of cevenhir , it is really nice clean and the room are big .the manager are all great and very friendly and helpful . we stayed 2 days and we will definitely stay there again it is our new favorite hotel in Istanbul

A delight
Delightful small hotel, within a short stroll of many lovely things to do around Taksim Square. The only weird thing is that hotel policy is to only give one room card (even if two adults are sharing a room)

Very nice hotel in a great location. Clean and spacious rooom. Close to busy area with lots of restaurants and nightlife, but very quiet even on the lower floors. Staff were great and very helpful, even upgraded my room for no additional charge. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel in good location
We only stayed one night before we flew out and wished we could stay longer. Very nice welcome after a long days travel and our room was amazing. Spacious, clean. Our best hotel in Turkey. I highly recommend this place to all.

EXCELLENT SMALL HOTEL
Yes, good hotel have used in the past, little hard to find, even police didn't know were it was!!!!!! Once you know perfect, very quiet area, but within 4 minutes you are in Taskim Sq, and lots of places to eat, rooms, without sounding "posh" I have always gone for a deluxe or junior suite, rooms just the right size, bathroom small but has everything you need. Never eaten breakfast there but smells great! Staff great, even remembered us from last trip, personally I like that.Would recommend for couples and singles, cannot say for families so sorry,decoration fine, just a 4 storey small hotel that offers all you need for a trip to Istanbul. Will definately use again.

Great location for being in the thick of Taksim
Very small but well kept new looking hotel, well decored lobby and rooms. Front desk very helpful and can't do enough for you. Location is brilliant if you wana be around Taksim. Loads of bars, pubs restaurants cafes and fast food places. 5-6 mins from metro walking. No restaurant or bar in the hotel, but they do provide you with breakfast in the lobby on request.

This was my 2nd time I decided to go for this hotel. It's not big with ~10 rooms however you are treated very kind and it was pleasure being a guest here. Rooms are well decorated, very clean and with modern equipment (smart TV). It is located very close to the taksim square and definitely for this price I'll decide to go for this hotel again

Uns hat das kleine familäre Hotel sehr gut gefallen. die freundliche Mitarbeiterin und die großen und ruhigen Zimmer haben uns überzeugt. Einiziger Kritikpunkt ist die verschimmelte Dusche. Bitte da unbedingt nachbessern dann kommen wir gerne wieder.
