Hammamhane is a very quaint boutique hotel. We had a wonderful time here… the people, the food the location are the best of the best. We’ll definitely be back and stay here again.

I am a retired US diplomat. I have lived in six countries other than my own, and I've visited 63 more. In a lifetime of travel, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels. The Hammahane is as fine a boutique hotel as I have ever come across. Not only is it conveniently located on the European side of Istanbul near tourist sites, monuments, and and endless variety of restaurants and cafes, but the facility is clean and in excellent repair, the included breakfast is excellent, and the staff is fabulous - beyond helpful. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Very pleasant stay
Great location and easy to find. Staff were nice, very friendly, honest and helpful. I appreciated their kindness and willingness to help. Breakfast was great, if you have a reservation don’t hesitate to include breakfast, it was great 😃 Room was clean and quiet. Great place and I will come back again

Friendly staff and convenient location
The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. the Hotel is located about 10 min walking to the Tram station.

Istanbul studio apartment
Very happy with our stay. It’s a great small apartment/ hotel, in an interesting, convenient location. Towels didn’t need to be changed every day and it would have been useful to have soap and basic cleaning products by the kitchen sink. Some nights were a little noisy outside, so earplugs for light sleepers are recommended.

Our stay at Hammamhane was great! Property was super clean. Breakfast was delicious and wholesome. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. They also gave great recommendations on local cafes and restaurants. Property was located in a relatively quiet area and streets around were not noisy. Cute antique stores were close to the hotel and cafes too. It was a 10 minute walk from Taksim square and super convenient. Overall we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

Amazing location and everything is so well thought out and designed to support visitors. It is a perfect jumping off point for exploring all of Istanbul. The units are like studio apartments complete with small kitchen, clothes washer, safes. The staff is exceptional and the Hamman (Turkish bath house) next door is a must.

Very nice hotel! Staff is awesome and does everything to make you feel cared for. Delicious breakfast served in the coffee place next to the lobby. Has a parking lot next door which was great for us as we were not planning to use our car in Istanbul. The front desk is covered 24x7 and they are always wiling to help. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

A wonderful place to stay in an interesting part of the city. Hammanhane staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly- from the gentlemen on the front desk to the kitchen staff and the young women serving at breakfast- they are outstanding.

Best hotel experience ever in Istanbul!
Hammamhane is a gem in every way! The family and staff running the hotel are so genuine, caring and warm! They want your stay to be perfect, and are willing to do whatever it takes to ensure you feel welcomed and taken care of. We have visited Istanbul many times and always stayed in fabulous hotels. Our experience at Hammamhane tops them all! The hotel is in a slightly artsy, bohemian area, within walking distance to Taksim and other attractions. There are interesting shops and cafes all around. The Turkish bath spa affiliated with the hotel is amazing! Don't miss it! The breakfast is well done, as you would expect in a top Istanbul hotel. Drinking water is provided in refillable glass bottles, as much as you need, with no wasteful plastic bottles. The rooms are suitable for longer stays and even have a washing machine, so you can travel light and have clean clothes... All in all, you will not do better than Hammamhane in Istanbul! Thank you for such a lovely stay!

The artsiness of the hotel and the whole area was cool. Rooms were uniquely decorated, as was the breakfast area. Breakfast was delicious! Staff were absolutely amazing! Went with my fiancé to get married during our stay and the staff were so accommodating in absolutely every way, we were quite touched. Would go back next time we are in Istanbul, as well as recommend to family and friends!

I loved staying here. The staff are so kind and go well and beyond to help you with anything you ask for. The amenities in the room and perks of booking directly with the hotel are amazing. We didn't think we'd need a kitchen but if you ever want a late night snack its handy to be able to warm up something you grabbed during the day. We also loved having a washer dryer because it meant we didn't have to pack a lot. Next time I'll book with the hotel directly because you get free transport and even more amenities. The hotel cats are so playful and breakfast is yummy. The location is perfect for istiklal and surrounding areas. We used both taxis and public transport and didn't have trouble. The only thing I'd critique is the sound proofing, ventilation, and bathroom door getting stuck. The room was right above the lobby so we could hear people pass by and talk. Since it's winter, the heating was on and the room got stuffy but opening the window was an easy fix. Lastly, the bathroom door was quite difficult to open not sure why. To us these were all minor things and we'd definitely come again.

Great service, very friendly, helped me with an early check-in after an overnight flight. Comfortable. Greatly appreciated. Only suggestion is to have sealed bottled water.

AMAZING location. close to Taksim square. you only need a taxi if you really want to go to far destinations. otherwise, this is the best spot for never needing to drive just to get a meal, shop or see all that the heart of instanbul has to offer. the staff was very friendly. breakfast was lovely and I enjoyed having free turkish tea all day long in between trips to taksim square. The rooms were awesome and the cleaning staff was very good. I also liked that they provided glass bottles and the ability to refill with fresh and clean water on each floor. 10/10! We stayed on the top floor and it was so awesome watching the sun rise and set daily from the balcony
