There are two Arnavuktkoy areas in Istanbul. One is on the Bosphorous and is known for its waterfront with nice restaurants, shops and pubs. The other is a hamlet near the airport with a dearth of restaurants. Menalo Hotel is a very fancy hotel in the hamlet.
The rooms are large and nicely appointed, however, their soundproofing is inadequate. They also lack elevators which may be an issue for some folks.
As mentioned, this Arnavutkoy has no dining options, so you'll need to eat at the hotel's restaurant. While to food was delicious, it was very expensive. And they do not serve wine or beer.
Left too early to sample their breakfast.
The hotel is very close to the airport. Taxi only took 15 minutes and cost 180 Tl in October 2023.
A nice, albeit pricy place to overnight when you have an early morning flight.
