This is a nice and well-located hotel for a visit to Ithaca. I would have liked it better but for the following four things: 1) the electrical outlets on the table lamps were loose and did not always work, 2) there were no USB ports except one on the clock radio, 3) the air conditioning did not cool well after the first two days of a three-day stay, 3) the housekeeping service never made the bed or switched the towels. But everything was clean, the staff was nice, and the food and service good in the restaurant.

Great location, 2-minute walk to Ithaca Commons, 5 minute drive to Cornell University. Rooms are clean, hotel is well maintained. Free parking available 2 complains: 1. no hot tub, only pool and the water is a bit cold (even though it's scorching outside) 2. security is a bit lax. side doors and elevator have card readers but guests are not required to use them even late at night.

Neighborhood not safe. Around the parking lot there were quite a few people doing drugs. Parking is a nightmare. Parking spaces are too small. There was dried blood on the curtains.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the room was very poor. There was a thick layer of dust under the bed and underneath the furniture, which severely triggered my allergies. The bathroom was also not properly cleaned. There was mold in the grout lines and around the edges of the bathroom door. Overall, the level of cleanliness was very disappointing and did not meet basic expectations. I hope these issues will be addressed for future guests.

I did not feel safe. There was a very flimsy lock for the adjoining door. Very loud people that kept crashing into the door in the next room. We could here every very loudly from the next room. Checked in after 5 and our room still was not ready. Room smelled very strongly of cleaning chemicals when we finally got a room. None of the outlets in the room worked. The beds were comfortable.

We were traveling there for our son to audition at Ithaca College. The room was very clean and and in a wonderful location. We had 2 issues. First, the dresser/ Tv console was broken and nailed closed on the side where a refrigerator normally would go. Upon request, housekeeping was quick to bring us a refrigerator and plugged it in for us. 2nd was the room temperature. It was hot all night long. As fellow northerners we like the room at 68 at night. However, the thermostat wouldn’t go below 70 and then kept reset to 72. It was a sweaty night of sleep. It was January so we were use to the cold temperatures. We would stay again but we would had to discuss the thermostat controls.

The hotel itself is very nice. Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Check in is 4 pm but we did not get our room until 6 pm. They said they were full the night before and booked the night we checked in. They did give us complimentary breakfast vouchers due to the issue. The hotel is in walking distance to everything in downtown Ithaca which is great.

I was very pleased with my stay at the Ithaca Hotel. The staff were very friendly, and my room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located downtown so you can easily walk to Moosewood, Ithaca Commons, the State Theater, etc. The only downside was that I had noisy, upstairs neighbors who kept me up late. The hotel gave me a free, late check out at 1:30 pm to compensate me. I would definitely stay here again.
