"5 STARS across the board! Staff communication was amazing, very kind, and professional. Facility was spotless and accommodating for all our needs. Stayed for a fishing tournament and we will stay here again for sure! Covered parking with lights and power for your boat right outside your door step is awesome! Bathroom is huge! Beds are comfortable, and the living area was a bonus to kick back and relax. 5 minutes from 2 separate boat ramps we used, conveniently located to stores and restaurants as well."

"Such a huge upgrade compared to the past hotels at this location. Staff was always super helpful and very friendly whether you needed help or just wanted to have a nice chat with someone. The property was quiet, the rooms were cozy and clean, and the location is prime! There’s always room for improvement such as increasing the amount of available breakfast options, adding some gym equipment, or providing better pillows. The outside grounds were maintained however someone needs to go around to pick up all the cigarette butts and random trash. However, aside from a few suggestions, I would recommend this hotel for anyone for any reason for travel. You will ultimately have a better trip knowing you can rest peacefully here."

"We had the best time staying here! The fire pit was perfect for a bonfire and making s’mores. The outdoor shower was phenomenal. The bed was super comfortable, and the property felt incredibly safe being tucked away behind the owners property. We will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful views! Amazing sunrise and lovely sunsets. Just about everything you need for your stay is provided. What you should bring: a kitchen towel, extra kitchen garbage bags, dish washing soap, insect repellant, sunscreen. The kitchen provides all the things you will need to cook. The closest grocery store is 40 minutes away. So stockUp when you go because you won’t want to go back. We brought bottled water because we have medical needs. The steps to the water are great, but not if you have mobility issues. We could do it and we’re early- mid 60’s. The porch is perfect for sitting out back and watching the water and the sun rise, so there is no need to walk the steps unless you want to get in the river. We did not use the kayak so I can’t comment. You can fish from the bottom dock. The host is extremely responsive and will assist if you need anything. We hope to be back one day. We had our tiny ShiPoo with us and it was good for her too. The cabin did NOT smell like dogs, and with our allergies we were happy about that. Our dog is hypoallergenic. Had a very relaxing week. Saw four bald eagles and a rainbow! We really enjoyed. Oh, also bring charcoal and lighter fluid for the grill, and a lighter. Works great. Cooked our burgers perfectly."

"Loved staying here (clean, big TV, good AC, kitchen is amazing, plenty of room to park our boat, excellent access to JP Coleman State Park. Hostess even offered a good dinner place!) We definitely will be back!"
