The hotel's facilities were great. The reception staff were exceptional, very friendly and incredibly helpful, including advice about an adventure company in Jaca that took my son canyoning - it was a great recommendation. I would unfortunately have to say that the only exception to the fantastic service would be the staff in the dining room who came across as unapproachable and not very helpful.
Very disappointing. The AC did not work, the WiFi did not work, and there were flies in the room that never stopped all night. Consequently it was a hot, uncomfortable, and sleepless night. Also, it is a 1.6 km walk each way to go anywhere in town for dinner or whatever, which was fine for me but some people may want to be closer.
Eurostars Reina Felicia in Jaca provides what you expect from a business-oriented hotel. Clean and efficient accommodations and amenities, if a bit far but still walking distance from dining and visiting areas.
Over night stay on way to Denia. Reception very helpful. Room and rest of hotel very clean. Bed comfortable AC worked fine. Shower simple to use and worked well. No restaurant due to Covid, plenty of restaurants in town. Secure parking at hotel and in town. Ideal stop off halfway into our journey.
The Hotel is situated just on the edge of town. There are two supermarkets close by (walking distance). The views are second to none, if you want mountains they are there, if you want rivers again it's there and also flat farm land to wander around.
We were so comfortable. On arrival because my wife is in a wheel chair they changed the room. When my wife was not well at all we were told where the Urgencias was and from there to the Hospital only a short drive and the service was top notch. I can not put into words properly what our feeling are but WE WOULD GO BACK ANYTIME
We have stopped over in Jaca, on our trips to and from Spain for the past 12 years. during that time we have stayed in all of Jaca's min, central hotels and the Reina Felicia is by far the best. My only criticism would be the view of the unfilled swimming pool as you walk up to the main door during the colder months.
The fact that you a just a pleasant walk to the centre ( 10 minutes ), ensures that you have an undisturbed sleep.
Breakfasts there are some of the best ranges of food I have come across.
Really recommended for a stay in Jaca.
This was an overnight stay after travelling over the Pyrenees from France. The hotel is a modern hotel and looked quite new when writing this review. The room was spacious and very nicely presented the beds were large and comfortable. The bathroom was great, We ate here and the food was good, although for some reason, which was lost in translation, we could not eat in the restaurant and ate in the cafeteria. We would definitely use again. Parking is available although a little pricey at 8 euros.
We have stayed in Jaca several times but always on the main strip, this time we chose a quieter location just 15 minute walk into town. The parking was therefore no problem, there was little traffic outside the hotel and the view of Peña Oroel was beautiful. Our stay was in late October so some of the hotel facilities were unavailable such as the outside pool and lunchtime restaurant and bar but we never used the latter two anyway as we always walked into Jaca itself. If a supermarket is of interest, there are two which are very close by.
We have stayed here before so knew what to expect or so we thought. On reading the hotel information it stated that swimming caps had to be worn, which we have never seen before. We did not ask at reception if this was in fact the case and maybe we should have but instead of using the leisure facility which we were looking forward to we went into the town instead. We got back to our room later that evening and when we went to bed tried to turn on the air conditioning because it was rather warm in the room but it did not work. We felt it was too late to complain as we would possibly be asked to move to another room which we did not want to do. I mentioned at check out that the air conditioning was not working and just got a "sorry about that".
All normal aspects of the hotel were fine, but the evening meal was dire. Overworked waiter did well but the food served up was grim. We will not be returning.
The hotel is a bit far from town (15 minute walk) and in a residential area next door to a supermarket. Very quiet area but lacking in any atmosphere. We had an initial problem as in October they shut off the aircon and our room was too hot. The staff were very good and changed us to a second floor room with balcony. This was vastly better. The underground car parking is not very secure as doors from the hotel are left open. Whilst no#one can steal your car, if you have a car loaded with things it makes you feel a little vulnerable. The cost is 8 euros per night and I think adding security access would make this better value for money.
really enjoyed the stay here fantastic for the family. unfortunely the pool was nit open which was the only sour note. but staff were extremely helpful
Hotel clean and modern. Situated about 15 minutes from Jaca. Level ground, pleasant walk into and back from town.Good ,low priced supermarket near hotel if you are touring and need to stock up. On departure we had a problem putting in the address of our next hotel . Man on reception was excellent, eventually phoning our next hotel and sorting out the problem. Really appreciated as our Spanish is poor.
WE had prepaid and has frecords to state so However the hotels records were different and they charged us for our stay. This caused much unplesentness and wasted a good deal of time
We spent one night in this hotel, on a trip from France, and were very happy. We had a suite, which we didn't expect, which was spacious and comfortable. Having driven for some hours, it was great to stop at such a comfortable and well run hotel. The pool was also a big hit with the family. Jaca is very interesting, lots to see and good restaurants only a 15 min walk to the hotel.
Jaca is a beautiful town. The Reina Felicia is the newest and nicest hotel in town, it's "far" to the south; but in Jaca, the south side is walking distance from the north side. The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is also relatively new. The room was very clean, with modern design, and perfect for a family with small children. The suite had a sofa bed with a balcony, the bedroom had a separate balcony with a coffee table and chairs. The bathroom was pleasant and modern. The bar and cafe stay open relatively late and there is always plenty of atmosphere in the terraza. The only negative remark is the use of two twin beds joined together instead of the king bed we booked.
