nice for family reunion

We had a large family reunion at Casa Rio Mar and Casa Rio Mar Grande. We asked Matt, the property manager for assistance in scheduling events, transport and meals/chef. This process worked great and Matt was super helpful with local knowledge, etc. Great location on the beach. Only issue was an issue with the plumbing that the security team worked to rectify pretty quickly due to it being off hours.

Great property with many amazing amenities! We were a family of 30 and had a great time, the beach is a few steps away and having 2 pools was great for all. The convenience of chefs cooking and doing the shopping was amazing. They cooked great meals and cleaned up afterwards, couldn't have been better. The 24 hour security was a great. The day guard, Ronny was amazing at keeping the property clean on a daily basis. He cleaned all the table tops and went around picking up dirty towels and swapping them for clean ones.Tia, the concierge made all the reservation for all kinds of fun activities. She made it all very easy. It was a resort type service in these 2 beautiful homes. We absolutely loved our stay.

Family reunion trip

We absolutely loved this property! The location was perfect, literally just steps from the beach, and close to the town and attractions. The 2 pools on the property were clean and so fun for the kids as well as the beach. The water temperature of the ocean was perfect! Warmest ocean we’ve ever been in!! Kids never wanted to leave the property. Our concierge, Tia, was extremely helpful and friendly! We rode golf carts into town for groceries, ice cream, a yummy French bakery, and restaurants. We had the chefs cook at the property daily and loved the food and the friendly service. We took our big family of 41 people and had plenty of room for everyone, very comfortable!! There is an on-site security guard and maintenance guy that took care of any issue we had. The surfing was great and the kids of all ages loved playing in the waves. This was our first time to Costa Rica and we were totally delighted with everything! It was a trip to remember in every way! This property was fantastic!

Our wedding stay!

We recently stayed a week there as well as had our wedding there, services provided by them. It was more then beautiful, they were very accommodating, helped plan my wedding from start to finish, ease my mind and worked above and beyond to make our wedding perfect! From a great location, clean house, offered more then we could imagine from tours and activities and ending is off with a bonfire on the beach. I would very much recommend this property!!! Great job!

PERFECT

There was a large group of us, 15, with an age range from 1 to 68 years old, and this casa was PERFECT! The kitchen allowed for cooking for a large group with ease, with out feeling crowded. The pool has an entry that allowed the children to play with out the water level being over their heads... It was awesome and allowed my niece to gain confidence. The house is at the end of the road, so there was not much traffic (as opposed to a lot of other homes/rentals on the beach in Jaco). The deck allows for unobstructed views of the most AMAZING sunsets that I have ever seen. The house manager, Matt was beyond helpful, arranging/coordinating activities for the group or couples. As a family we made some incredible memories...... I am looking forward to many more.

We had an awesome time with lots of outings. The fishing trip was the most memorable. The hosts were very helpful in setting up the outings. The house was very clean and well-maintained. We had an amazing stay at Casa Rio Mar! Such a perfect place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica. We will definitely visit this location again and bring our kids next time to enjoy this luxury home and all of its amenities. So many things to love about this place: *Best location on Jaco Beach with perfect waves for beginner surfers *Each bedroom has a private bathroom * Perfect pool for families with children *Amazing outdoor deck for sunsets and relaxing *Short walk to downtown Jaco or cheap cab *Security guard on site 24/7.

Amazing house and location! Incredible experience!

Casa Rio Mar Grande is an incredible home on an amazing beach. We had a large group stay for over a week and it proved to be everything we hoped and more! Our group ranged in age from mid-60s to a one-year-old and the house and location really was perfect. Very clean and well decorated. Each bedroom in the home has its own bathroom, which affords perfect privacy in a large group. There is seating galore around the home, and the outside patio is totally covered, creating an outdoor living room area, which is where we spent most of our time. The pool is perfect for staying cool, and lounging around. The entry to the pool is a few steps into a flat shallow area that is a perfect size for small kids to play in - which ours did all day. I can’t stress enough how great the pool is! There is a wonderfully large raised deck that looks out over the beach. The deck gets wonderful breezes and provides the perfect place to watch the surfers ride the waves. The property is very well maintained with beautiful landscaping. We were visited regularly by small salamanders, iguanas, and Costa Rican squirrels. We saw toucans at the house, and macaws, as well. In addition to the property itself surpassing our expectations, we were very pleased with the assistance and guidance provided by the house manager, Matt, and the house owner, Jim. Having English-speaking contacts to facilitate our trip in numerous ways was really key for our group. From arranging transfers to and from the airport, to arranging amazing excursions for a group with varying interests, to stopping in to make sure we had everything we needed, they were very responsive to our needs and we couldn't have asked for better hosts. Our stay at Casa Rip Mar Grande and the entire trip was all really more than we had hoped for. We will definitely be back!
