We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. It’s a nice small place with a beautiful room. The staff here makes the experience a 10/10, they treat you just like family here and do everything to make your stay more welcome. They assisted with car service from the airport to the hotel well before I traveled, and assisted with setting up excursions and rides to get there. Their kindness truly went a long way. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at this hotel in Jacó and had a wonderful experience. Pablo is amazing—an excellent communicator who truly makes you feel like the place, the city, and even the air around you are yours. He gave us great restaurant recommendations, and every place we tried was excellent. Pablo was genuinely one of the best people we met on our trip. The property itself is a bit farther out, so having a car is recommended. Parking is ample and easy. The property is clean, and the swimming pool is very close and convenient. Overall, a great stay with outstanding hospitality.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Special thanks to the front desk staff! I usually don't like hotels, but this really is an exception. It is very peaceful and quiet and next to a river. Incredible stay. The staff were kind and amazing, Alfredo from the front desk was so friendly! At breakfast time, they made the best omlettes, waffles or pancakes on the spot for you! My husband and I stayed at Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel from January 20th to January 23rd for our first trip to Costa Rica in celebration of our 20th anniversary, and we had an absolutely fabulous stay. Every member of the staff—from the front desk team to the housekeepers, cooks, and spa therapists—was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. We stayed in the Kal Suite, which was amazing. Being surrounded by nature and complete tranquility made the experience unforgettable, and the private jacuzzi was the perfect bonus. The food was delicious, and the piña coladas were the best we’ve ever had. Definitely take advantage of the Happy Hour specials—they’re worth it. The spa experience was unlike anything we’ve ever done. Getting couples massages outdoors in the middle of the jungle was a major highlight of our trip. It was so relaxing that we booked massages two nights in a row. I highly recommend Pumilio Mountain & Ocean Hotel to anyone looking to enjoy nature, unwind, and escape the hustle and stress of everyday life.

Beautiful cozy location. The pool was the best I’ve ever seen. The outdoor spa is amazing. Enjoyed a Massage with the sounds of the jungle and the stream just a few feet away. We received a very warm welcome when we checked in to Pumilio Mountain and Ocean Resort. Lots of perks due to my Expedia account status. The room was big, beautiful, super comfortable. There was a lovely pool and lounge area, and what appeared to be a popular and luxurious spa. The room rates in early November are very reasonable. This was an excellent choice for the Jaco area and I’d gladly stay here again

The location was very nice! Quiet and relaxing yet only a short 4-5 minute drive from the beach, bars, restaurants, tours etc. the staff was super friendly and making sure to take care of whatever we needed. DJ the manager was amazing!!! Always on top of everything and made sure we never needed anything. The hotel offered laundry service which was very nice. Will definitely be booking there again and highly recommend it!
