The hotel is large and has lots of facilities including a remote beach on an island. choice of restaurants and nice pool. Also entertainment. The downsides, the ferry to the beach is busy and on two occasions we stood on the island in line for two hours. especially busy Friday and Saturday afternoons. Food is generally good but service is poor, we experienced two evenings of wrong orders and poor recovery. Food on beach is best for lunch and staff there much better. The internet is very mixed and often doesn't work. There is also building work at one of the complexes which is noisy however it looks like it may not take too much longer. Overall a beautiful setting with great remote beach thats why I gave it 4 stars. however rooms and service should pull it down to 3 stars.

The room was excellent- very clean and comfortable. We only stayed for one night but we were able to walk to go have dinner and drinks. I would stay here again!

One of the best experience that I’ve ever had loved it and was super happy with the service. Everyone was nice and helpful and everything was clean and was how expected to be another thing that I really loved was the manager at the bar in the Rio grande resort manager, David one of the best will respectful managers and love how he serves and runs his staff. I highly recommend and I will definitely be back sometime soon thank you guys so much from the Rio Grande. much love from Felipe Martinez.
