This was an add on day to my original five day stay I enjoyed the hotel and the staff, especially Tarysa and Erna at the front desk, Julia at the restaurant and Nisa from the Spa and situated in the Old Town the location was ideal for me

Good hotel, good breakfast. Walking distance to café Batavia. No parasols at the pool. Staff had put our suitcases in the wrong vehicle that had almost left for the airport. Only fast running by my son prevented the disappearance of our luggage.

In the hotel, although some of the decorations were tacky because of Lunar New Year. Which has the power because it was close to the Historic Dutch colonial area of Jakarta, which was huge disappointment. The doorman insisted on calling us a taxi instead of letting us go to the street, said it would be four minutes, and 15 minutes later said the taxi had canceled and he would call another. We walked out in the street and held a taxi in less than one minute. The breakfast buffet was beautiful and extensive.

The hotel facilities are good, clean and new. The beds are comfortable and clean. I did not love the neighborhood and wouldnt stay in this location again, but if you need an hotel around the area this is a good option. On our last night, we ordered room service and I was informed that the POS machine wasnt working and that he would return the next day. In the morning, they knocked in our room before 7am to charge, bothering our sleep. Besides that, service was good.

Delayed check in due to room not being ready. However, staff was kind and apologetic in explaining. Also we stayed on the 6th floor and it smelled like cigarette smoke. Not sure if smoking was allowed in the hotel or just on certain floors. But didn’t appreciate that. Also the carpet in the hallway was dirty.

Cleaning is really not good. Had hair in the sink and around it when arrived, there were no hand towels and cleaning during the stay was not good... The hotel room was refurbished and looked nice, but internet bandwidth and acoustic from other rooms were not good.

Pre arrival communication was lacking. Checkin went very smooth, but the lead up due to my late arrival (1am) and no communication was stressful. The room was sufficient for my needs. The massage area was clean, but be very sure to Clearly Communicate the timing, style to avoid any misunderstanding and discomfort during your Massage. The shower drain was slow to drain and the hand held wand leaked. (Though that just needed tightening which I did myself.) The location is very close and convenient to old town, the walk is slightly confusing due to construction and road closures, and you need to cross very busy roadways to get there. But it is certainly doable. Besides one interaction that made me feel uncomfortable , Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
