Our stay was pleasant. Staff were very accommodating, but on two separate occasions we made bookings with the staff, and the bookings weren’t actually made. They were very agreeable with us, but we later found out they didn’t actually understand us. We feel they needed more staff that could speak and understand English. Other than this, we did enjoy our stay and the hotel is beautiful.

Service was impeccable, breakfast and dinner buffet had lots of variety and were delicious, room was extremely clean and well-kept, and the rooftop bar offers an extraordinary view of the city. Very secure, always several personnel outside. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the location isn’t walkable to much, but it’s right on the train line, so easy to get to Gambir or Jakarta Kota in a matter of minutes.

It is an old colonial building in a quiet neighborhood. But that puts it away from attractions to visit. Staff is attentive and courteous. Pool and fitness area needs improvement. Maintenance issues like hot water needs to be resolved: we never got hot water during our 3 nights stay (2 nights booked not they Expedia) despite staff promises to fix it

The hotel is a refurbished historic landmark. It has so many beautiful details. The breakfast is among the best selections I have ever had at a hotel. The staff is genuinely friendly and welcoming. The surrounding neighborhood is lovely and walkable. For those interested, the commuter train, which serves the old center of Jakarta all the way to Bogor, is two blocks away.

Upea perinteikäs hotelli loistavalla palvelulla. Huone todella tilava ja ja siisti. Aamupalalla a la carte ja lisäksi runsas buffet. Kattoterassin baarista hienot näkymät ympäristöön. Plussana uima-allas ja baari (toki ilman näköaloja. Sisätilat todella hienot kuin museossa olisi käymässä. Ilman flunssaa olisin myös hyödyntänyt tyylikästä sikari loungea. Sijainti todella rauhallisella alueella ja juna-aseman läheisyydessä, jolla pääsi helposti päänähtävyyksiin.

호텔룸은 넓고 환했지만, 전체적인 청결상태나 룸의 컨디션은 그렇게 좋은편은 아니었습니다. 그리고 출장기간내내 아침조식을 호텔에서 했는데 음식의 퀄리티 뿐만 아니라 직원들의 응대도 답답한 점이 많았습니다. 웃으며 서비스를 하지만 각기 다른 직원이 다가와 필요한거 있냐고 물어서 커피를 주문했는데 알았다고 대답만하고 가져다 주지 않아서 한참후에 받기도 하고, 고객응대하는 패턴이 웃으며 정해진 스크립대로 서비스멘트는 하지만 그걸 기억해서 서비스를 제공하거나 고객의 니즈를 파악한 스마트한 응대를 기대하긴 어려웠습니다. 다음번 자카르타 출장에는 차라리 인근의 대형호텔로 예약을 하는게 나을것 같습니다.

Un séjour décevant

Le niveau du séjour à l'hôtel est décevant cette fois-ci par rapport à mon séjour l'année dernière. Premièrement, pas d'eau chaude dans la salle de bain, nous devons toujours appeler le personnel technique pour intervenir, mais pas aussi chaude que nous l'avons souhaité. Le signal de télévision est très saccadé pour l'AIIC et le bloomberg ne fonctionne pas. Des plats principaux décevants servis pour le dîner comme les vermicelles frits, le riz frit et les nouilles frites (ils ont utilisé des nouilles instantanées, mais elles n'ont pas été bouillies assez longtemps, donc elles sont encore dures). Les soupes servies sont des foires locales que vous pouvez acheter n'importe où dans la ville comme le tahu bakso. Peut ne plus rester à l'hôtel pour le prix.

This hotel is great for anyone who enjoys historical architecture and amazing service. All the staff were incredibly nice. The property was very safe and extremely quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The best part of this hotel was the breakfast every morning. New dishes to try both Western and Indonesian with friendly staff. The only downside was that the area around the hotel was not very walkable but not much of the Jakarta area is so keep this in mind when visiting.

The hotel was fantastic, the staff wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed spending time on the rooftop bar. The view was very nice. I highly recommend staying here. There are a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance.

Great 5 nights here, we booked a junior suite, it came with breakfast and club lounge access. Breakfast was great, not only a buffet but a decent cooked to order menu, ate amazing! The hotel was lovely, really well furnished colonial style - the room was great, with heavy sliding doors between rooms and a bath on the old balcony. There was a cake waiting for us on arrival, even though we were late at 1am, plus another cake after breakfast on day 1. Club lounge was a nice bonus, soft drinks if you were about in the day and then alcoholic drinks and food from 6-8pm. It describes it as a mini buffet, but you could eàsily have 3 courses and meant you didn't have to venture out. All in all a great place, shame we didn't book longer!!

Best value stay at Indonesia. Small gem hidden in central Jakarta. Staff smile give guest most welcome feeling. Breakfast and club dinner are wonderful. Best value . Room size is decent. Beautiful heritage building .
