The hotel was fantastic, the staff wonderful, and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed spending time on the rooftop bar. The view was very nice. I highly recommend staying here. There are a couple of nice restaurants within walking distance.

This hotel is great for anyone who enjoys historical architecture and amazing service. All the staff were incredibly nice. The property was very safe and extremely quiet. The room was spacious and clean. The best part of this hotel was the breakfast every morning. New dishes to try both Western and Indonesian with friendly staff. The only downside was that the area around the hotel was not very walkable but not much of the Jakarta area is so keep this in mind when visiting.

There were some minor issues and inconsistent level of service but hotel staff were prompt to rectify them. Nice heritage building with warm and helpful staff, especially F&B manager Bagus, and Nancy at the Club Lounge. Hotel is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and slightly off the shopping areas but very pleasant. Looking forward to return.

Service was impeccable, breakfast and dinner buffet had lots of variety and were delicious, room was extremely clean and well-kept, and the rooftop bar offers an extraordinary view of the city. Very secure, always several personnel outside. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the location isn’t walkable to much, but it’s right on the train line, so easy to get to Gambir or Jakarta Kota in a matter of minutes.

Great 5 nights here, we booked a junior suite, it came with breakfast and club lounge access. Breakfast was great, not only a buffet but a decent cooked to order menu, ate amazing! The hotel was lovely, really well furnished colonial style - the room was great, with heavy sliding doors between rooms and a bath on the old balcony. There was a cake waiting for us on arrival, even though we were late at 1am, plus another cake after breakfast on day 1. Club lounge was a nice bonus, soft drinks if you were about in the day and then alcoholic drinks and food from 6-8pm. It describes it as a mini buffet, but you could eàsily have 3 courses and meant you didn't have to venture out. All in all a great place, shame we didn't book longer!!

Very small pool, only couple of sunbeds, very bad lunch, very slow service, no smart TV in the rooms which means no youtube or Netflix, good breakfast, bad dinner and horrible timmong set for dinner. If i would go back again, absolutely NO.

The general standard is that of perfection. Guests are treated as treasured visitors. The service is personal, faultless and effective. The room was elegantly palatial. The housekeeping is immaculate and professional. The restaurant is sublime. The food is superb. In my opinion, the location is the best in Jakarta. I cannot wait to return to The Hermitage.
