kota駅から近い。ショッピングカートモールも歩いて行ける。大通り沿いだが、中は意外と静か。個人的に４Ｆのテラスが良かった。かなり広くて、座るところはないが、洗濯物をたくさん干せてとても助かりました。部屋は狭いですが、お湯もwifiも問題なく使えるので、駅を拠点にされる方は、このホテルもありかと思います。

Quite old but comfortable enough

Very basic hotel but comfortable enough for the week I was there. It could do with a bit of love, but was otherwise clean and safe. The a/c in my room sounded very asthmatic but it lasted the week and worked well. Opposite the hotel is a bus station if that's your thing, one stop away from the main north-south route which will get you anywhere in Jakarta. They are easy to use but you need to buy a swipe card. If you prefer more comfort, taxis are everywhere and even a long ride in one will only cost a few dollars. Heavy traffic means you do take a lot longer getting places than the distance suggests though, especially in the evening. Within walking distance of the hotel are several malls and small shops, though the area is not pedestrian friendly, and not a place for small kids. The hotel is on a busy road but the rooms are quiet and comfortable. Rooms have no windows; my single room was just a little box room with 'wet' bathroom at one end. Breakfast buffet was very basic but the quality and quantity is OK. There are usually a couple of choices only, but changed each day.

Basic hotel in convenient location

You get what you pay for. Twins Hotel is not a luxury hotel, but it is conveniently located close to the Kota train station and TransJakarta bus station, which means it's a useful place to stay if you need to do things in Jakarta or want to see the National Museum (6 stops on bus 1). It's also walking distance to the Bank Museum and the old city historical buildings, so it's a good starting point for other tourist activities. The staff were very friendly and arranged for a driver to meet me at the airport when I flew in on a domestic flight (cost 250,000 rupiya, a bit more than a taxi but it saved the hassle of negotiating with taxi drivers and not knowing if they knew where they were going). They also let me store my luggage all day when I checked out, since I didn't want to haul it with me while I explored the city. My room was clean and the bed was acceptably comfortable. The bathroom was typical of many low budget Asian hotels and apartments, with the shower just attached to the wall. That meant water got everywhere and the floor remained wet long after I had finished. There was also an unpleasant smell coming up through the drains. The major drawback of the room was not having a window, but that may actually have been good since the outside street traffic was really loud. I didn't want to spend a lot of time in the room.

部屋はごく一般的なシングルルームで可も無く不可も無し。 スタッフさんは親切で、割と簡単な英語で対応してくれたお陰で私もスムーズにチェックイン/アウトも出来た。 ひとり旅にはちょうどいい宿だと思う。
