"Icah and Salome were great. Icah made sure my EVERY NEED was meet. Some multiple times. She took very very very good care of me. Will be coming back again. "
"Absolutely beautiful place to spend 5 days.
Utterly clean, great food, cold drinks, very very cheap, free kayaks and paddle boards, good shower, friendly dogs, interesting wildlife, really friendly staff, loads of interesting places to sit and lay down in the communal area, can walk quite far out into the Indian ocean when the tide is out and it faces west so the view of the sun setting each evening is spectacular.
I'll give it a 14 out of 10!!! "
"I do NOT recommend that hotel. Old style boxxy hotel from the 1980'. Super small bathroom and shower with a plastic curtain. For the toilet, you litterally stand in the shower : unacceptable. Ok it is clean and there is a small unattractive pool. It is worth no more than 50 €, a sort of ok 2 stars lodge. No Zanzibar dream at all.
Breafast is ok.
Hotel is situated in second line from the beautiful beach. There are much nicer hotels ON the beach.
Without a car, you are trapped in an ugly back...
"Wanted something different and quiet from the north side and enjoyed my time here for some rest and relaxation. Going out to the beach in low tide was excellent. "
"I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. Unlike the photos, our room was very dark and it was impossible not to bring sand into the room without a deck/patio by the...
"Loved the property, its location by the sea its personel and owners. The restaurant with italian food. Service great, special mention Colin in the receprion, Joy in the restaurant and Leila who cleaned my room.
Did not like the floors in the bathroom as very alippery when wet."
"Because we were only stopping for 2 nights we weren't too particular as to the room so chose the cheapest option but in retrospect we should have picked one next to the pool. We were in an annexe a 20meters away and it was a small room, though it did provide an effective ac unit, tea and coffee facilities, hit shower, clean towels both days, mosquito net, and it was clean and well presented. The main rooms surround the pool and are better proportioned.
The owner and the staff are very pleasant...
"Situé en plein cœur de Jambiani à 10 mètres de la plage nous avons séjourné 4 jours dans cet hôtel proche de toutes les commodités.
Super petit déjeuner, personnel à l'écoute et super aimable. Je recommande vivement !
La piscine est top et le patron de l’hôtel est arrangeant !
"
"Great property. Loved the stay here. Advised us of the local rules and things to pay attention to. I enjoyed the beachfront and the ability to lounge basically on the beach. The resturant had good options and get fresh juice.
Only drawback was the wi-fi strength and stability inside the room, it kept cutting in and out. Also there was a limit to the amount of devices that would be connected with the code given.
Overall, would definetly recommend staying here. "

"Passion boutique is the perfect escape in paradise!!
The grounds are clean let me say it again lol the grounds are clean!!!! The staff is friendly/welcoming and the food is fresh!!! And the manager Madelina was soooo nice. Highly recommended this hotel!!
My husband and I spent 3 weeks in znz and by far passion boutique hotel stood out the most (we stayed in a total of 4 hotels) "
"I really enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this resort — great food variety, friendly staff members, and lots of things to do at the resort. The pool is great, and the beach area is amazing with breathtaking views and sightseeing.

"Our stay at the Bamboo Hotel was truly wonderful. The grounds are absolutely stunning, and the unique architectural design—where you can gaze out at the ocean as if it’s a living, breathing TV screen—is incredibly relaxing.
The rooms were spotless and clearly well-maintained; the staff does an exceptional job keeping everything clean and comfortable. Service was excellent—everyone was warm, attentive, and eager to make our stay enjoyable.
The food was delicious, and we especially loved the fresh juices—they were refreshing and full of flavor.
Overall, we highly recommend the Bamboo Hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by beautiful waters and top-notch service."
"We planned to stay at Blue Moon Resort for three nights but loved it so much that we extended our stay. The staff were friendly, hardworking, and welcoming. Check-in was simple, and we got a tour before heading to our private pool room, which was clean, spacious, and quiet. The pool was surrounded by large palm trees, making it incredibly relaxing to float and watch them sway. The room had a minibar, Netflix, and an Alexa station, and housekeeping cleaned it daily.
A couple of minor issues: the wardrobe only had four hangers, which wasn’t enough, and the shower temperature fluctuated between hot and cold every 30 seconds.
The restaurant overlooked the sea and served great food. I had local traditional meals, and one night, a BBQ buffet with live music created a lively atmosphere. Breakfast was à la carte, and the vegetarian option was excellent, with fresh avocado, stir-fried vegetables, and pineapple juice.
The grounds were well-maintained and peaceful. We loved relaxing on the jetty and swimming in the warm, calm sea. The beach was rocky, but we visited a Maasai shop nearby.
Bring cash (USD), as the card machine had issues. My wife had a reasonably priced full-body massage. The dogs and cats were tame, but a monkey on a lead seemed unfairly restricted.
"
"This small hotel is beautiful. The rooms are wonderful and very well stocked with all you need.
The staff are very helpful and all spoke very good English.
The food was amazing and very tasty, good selection of veggie stuff for the wife too.
Overall just a great stay."
