Mt. Sherman Cabin - Ozark Mountains

Located in the heart of the Ozarks, this 6 person cabin comes fully furnished and is centrally located to many trails, river access points, and is only a 5 minute drive to downtown Jasper, AR. The cabin is located on Hwy 74 West in-between Jasper and Ponca. It is in the perfect location for easy access to hiking, kayaking, and exploring all that the Ozarks has to offer. Great secluded cabin in the woods!

We had a great time staying in the cabin, we were hiking and canoeing in the Buffalo River area. Great place, wonderful patio looking down the valley. Cabin was great and was well stocked. Will stay here again for our next trip!

Weekend getaway

We were very happy with our weekend at Mt. Sherman Cabins! The place was cute, well stocked, and clean. The attention to detail and care were charming. We would absolutely stay here again!

Great location for a getaway

My wife and I loved the cabin and the area. The cabin was less than ten minutes from Jasper where we were able to go get dinner each night. The cabin was clean. We were able to comfortably enjoy the hot tub as well. Everything as described.

3rd Visit to Mt. Sherman Cabin

We love coming to the Mt. Sherman cabin! This was our third visit and we enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, and amazing views for sunrise and stars! The inside of the home is always clean and comfortable.

Anniversary trip

The cabin was perfect for our 50th wedding anniversary. The cabin was clean and so much attention had been given to every little detail. The back porch became our favorite place to be as the views were awesome. We loved the quietness of the location and look forward to returning.

Honeymoon

Our stay was nothing short of AMAZING! The property was clean, the views were spectacular, the location was close proximity to anything you would need when staying here (downtown Jasper & outdoors activities! You can tell the owner takes pride in their property and strives to make it a trip to remember! We spent the evenings in the hot tub gazing at the stars! Would definitely recommend and return!

Fantastic Ozarks Cabin

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property and it’s been great both times. It’s very secluded but still close to town and near a ton of hiking and river access. The house is very clean and comfortable and you can’t beat the view. We’ll definitely be back!

Paradise!

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary by staying here and going canoeing as we did on our honeymoon 50 years ago! The cabin is simply fantastic! It is a secluded paradise, and the owner includes so many nice touches and amenities. We couldn’t have enjoyed it more!

Perfect Arkansas Getaway

The cabin has one of the best views, is close to lots of great hiking and is secluded but still close to Jasper. We can’t wait to stay here again. We appreciated having the fire pit and grass on both sides of the cabin for our dogs. There was plenty of space in the cabin and the hosts were super communicative. I would absolutely recommend this as a top place to stay in Jasper!

Amazing Views

The views were amazing. The house is well equipped. Make sure you bring any personal items since the store is a bit of a drive but that’s what we were looking for. We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful stay near Buffalo Wild and Scenic River

All things wonderful with this cabin! Not only did it allow for our dogs but the view from this place and details in making this stay was superior. Beautiful view

The view from the cabin is breathtaking, and the deck is awesome, it even has a hot tub. The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Jasper and a grocery store and there are so many awesome hikes just minutes away. The cabin is laid out really well and we were all comfortable. It’s also well stocked even with some pantry staples like flour, sugar, and spices. There’s a super cute dog bed area, too. We would definitely stay again!

Hiking and floating

Cozy cabin with great amenities and thoughtful touches throughout. Beautiful views of the surrounding mountains during the day, and the stars at night. The location is perfect if you're floating to Kyle's Landing, hiking to triple falls, or hiking Indian Creek. Cabin is secluded but close to gas, groceries, and downtown Jasper. My wife and I plan on bringing the kids next time.

Just Wow 😍

We can’t say enough amazing things about this property. The view, the location, and the cabin itself were all stunning and we are proud to say we’ve stayed here. Leanna’s communication was fantastic, and Jasper is a short drive away that offers a cute little shopping/dining area. We took a day getaway to Eureka Springs as well which was only 1.5 hours away and enjoyed the variety of shops and scenery along the way there too! Buffalo National River is a must see and is only minutes from the cabin. We will definitely be back. Can’t thank you enough!

This is a remote, cozy, authentic cabin about 10min from Jasper AR. Our family kept a cabin in a remote area in CO and this place felt like home! The kitchen was fully stocked (including spices, coffee, and dry goods). We showed up with our clothes, gear, and food for the refrigerator, and everything else we needed was there! We enjoyed morning coffee on the deck overlooking the valley with luscious trees filled with songs of birds and the hot tub was an amazing place to hang out. We used the charcoal grill for a steak dinner that we ate at the table on the deck. There were games to play, quiet spots inside and out to rest and read books. We didn’t turn on the tv or game systems but those were also available. The beds and bedding were all comfy and everyone slept well. I work remote and enjoyed the small work space and good wifi for those quick emails and research for local attractions. We made it easily down to the Buffalo River to swim and explore the town of Jasper. Also, the host was quick and gracious to reply to a couple of my questions! Hope to return in the future!!

Peaceful and relaxing location

We were in town for the Buffalo River Elk festival. We were wanting to find something close to Jasper, Arkansas, but not right in town. Where all the people would be. This location is just 3 miles out of town up on the mountain and it is outstanding. The stars were so beautiful at night, the view is amazing, The breeze was perfect and the hot tub made for the most relaxing time ever. The host goes through every detail to make sure that your stay is perfect. Loved the extras like spices in the cabinet, a crockpot, she even left eggs if we wanted to use them. We had issues with a wasp nest and about 9 o’clock at night and she told me if I couldn’t get it down. She would come take care of it herself. The layout is amazing. The upstairs loft is huge with two full-size beds along with a Wii and several movies. We were traveling with my husband and I along with four young adults in their early 20s and we never felt crowded having six people in there. Can’t wait to come back
