"We had a fabulous fall weekend in the Northeast Kingdom and this secluded lake house was the perfect base. The kitchen was fully stocked (appreciate both the Keurig and big coffee maker options!) and there was plenty of room to enjoy meals together. We took advantage of the screened in porch for sunrise/sunsets with our drinks. Not only did we see two bald eagles fly right up to the seating area overlooking the lake but we were greeted by the sound of loons in the mornings. At night the sky was so clear we were able to identify many constellations and even saw the Milky Way (all while around the campfire). Location was close to a few restaurants and grocery stores too. Highly recommend taking the 30 minute drive down to Lake Willoughby for a gorgeous hike and a 15 minute drive to Rooty's Orchard for delicious and fresh pressed apple cider and warm apple cider donuts. Thank you to our wonderful hosts for sharing this lovely home and making it such a cozy vacation!"

"A nice, clean room, new bedding, on the floor above a full-service restaurant. They even have a nice sauna in the common area. I arrived after hours and my key was waiting at the reception. Heating in the room is hot water radiator, which makes curious noises at night, but once you figure out what it is it is not bothersome. The road traffic gets noisy in early morning, if light sleeper ask for a room facing back. The inexpensive restaurant has great selection for breakfast."

"Kudos to the host for the cleanliness of the condo, the beds were comfy and it was fairly priced.... It was, however, a little hard to find at first (with finding the number of the condo)and upon leaving, we had trouble with putting the key lock back over the keys. I called 3 times (the number I was given on the reservation) and never got a person to report this. It made me nervous that the room was actually accessible upon leaving but there was nothing else I could find to do to let them know the issue. We also didn't have internet on Sunday :("

"The location overlooking the lake was beautiful, especially with the fall foliage.Sherry communicated well and had some very helpful resources about local things to do and places to go. The cabin was well appointed with everything we needed. We appreciated the kayaks for use on the lake."

"Pictures are true to what you get. Easy access and beautiful fall views. Looks like ski in/out would be easy in winter. Having 2 bathrooms and bedrooms was awesome! Deb was easy to communicate with and provided all the info we needed. I would definitely stay there again."
