The Artist's Secret Garden

"Easy to find and check in. The apartment was historic, and the art was beautiful. The place was clean, felt like home immediately, was well maintained, and kitchen and bathroom amenities were bountiful. Internet wifi was fast (I had to upload large video files and did so quickly). I appreciated the communication prior to check in, and the written instructions and local tips in the host's guide book. Downtown was a quick 8 minute walk and very safe for female traveling alone. There are several great options for eating and shopping in the downtown area, including vegetarian food at the Mexican restaurant and Ethiopian lunch at the conference hall. The only complaint was the sound of a child running and jumping upstairs after 8:00 PM, which I would have expected if I had known a family with young children lived upstairs in the old house with wood floors. However, if one is used to that, it is a perfect stay!"

"This is a wonderful place. It is a cozy but towering space. The loft has what feels like a secret cave into an even cozier space. There is a huge back deck overlooking a wonderful yard. Although this is a private apartment space in a large house holding multiple spaces, it felt like we were all alone. We loved it. Communication was friendly and simple. The hosts were very accomodating. We can't wait to come back :)"
