"Our rooms thermostat (room 109) was not very good. The room got extremely hot then the AC kicked in. The room was then ice cold. It was hard to sleep because it was so hot then sooo cold. We liked the afternoon cookie though."

"This cute little cottage (a converted carriage house) was perfect for my stay in Harper's Ferry. The cottage was well maintained, clean and cozy. I would definitely stay there again - particularly if I came in a car (it is near the top of a tall hill, and I came by bike off the C&O towpath, which was a climb!). Notes: (1) there are two rentals with the same address, a house and this carriage house out back. I had a mildly embarrassing moment when I showed up and tried to enter the wrong house. (2) as a converted carriage house, it's small - think hotel room - but nonetheless wonderfully appointed and maintained. All said, a cozy and comfortable place that I would definitely stay in again."

"The pictures were an accurate depiction of the property. It was comfortable for our two couples traveling together. We had everything we needed. We loved the Ninja single cup coffee maker and there were pods there…I don’t know if the owner supplied or a previous guest left, but nice to have! The location is very good for walking to attractions and restaurants. There are lots of hills walking around, but if you’re in decent shape it’s not a problem. If you have a National Park Pass, be sure to bring it because it does get you free parking at the train station which is right in the center of everything."

"Lovely and very close to (literally in) downtown Harper’s Ferry. The inn sits directly across the street from the train station and tracks, so you hear loud trains all night (host provided earplugs but trains are pretty loud)."

"This house is so cute and convenient when visiting Harpers Ferry since it’s a super short walk to all historical sites, shops, and restaurants with some literally steps from the house. It’s also a short drive from lots of great breweries and wineries. The view from the porch is amazing! It was one of the best stocked houses we’ve ever stayed in. It had everything we needed. Bed was comfy and we loved the second floor sectional couch for watching tv after a day of exploring. Such a cool house and the hosts provided lots of helpful info prior to check in. We highly recommend this house unless you have someone in your group that struggles with steps. The house is old and both the inside and outside steps are steep and narrow. Also trains come in all through the night and they blow the horn because of the crossings, so that could be an issue for some people. We loved bringing our doggie with us and were pleased that the steps weren’t an issue for him."
