About this property

Wildflower | Mirror Cabin + Spa at Uncommon Accommodations - Smuggler's Notch

  • The Wildflower is compact by design, with every inch thoughtfully planned for a comfortable stay for two.

The sleeping area features a luxury queen mattress with premium bedding. Radiant heated floors run throughout the cabin, complemented by heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort.

The cabin includes a full private bathroom, kitchenette, dining space for two and high-speed WiFi. A ceiling-mounted projector transforms the cabin into a cozy private theater.

Floor-to-ceiling mirrored glass is the defining feature of the space, reflecting the surrounding landscape outside and providing privacy, while creating an immersive connection with the trees and mountains from within.

Step outside onto your private deck or wander down toward the Brewster River. Dedicated parking is conveniently located near the cabin, with easy access just off the Notch Road, route 108.

The Wildflower and its private deck are exclusively yours during your stay, while the property’s resort-style amenities and grounds are shared with a small number of other guests.

Just a short walk from your cabin, enjoy the hot tub, barrel sauna, firepit, stargazing lounge and outdoor gathering spaces.

Explore the trails and Brewster River, or cross our suspension bridge to discover the other side of the property.

The Outpost is our central guest hub, with complimentary laundry and resources for planning local adventures. The Gear Shed offers secure ski and bike storage plus a premium gear dryer for boots, gloves and other wet gear.

Please respect other guests’ private cabins and decks, along with any areas marked staff only, maintenance, utility or private.

We want you to feel like the property is yours to enjoy, so we give guests plenty of privacy during their stay.

Our local team is nearby and available by message or phone if you need anything, whether it’s help with the cabin, recommendations for exploring Smugglers’ Notch or assistance during your stay.

Otherwise, we’ll leave you to relax, explore and enjoy Wildflower at your own pace.

The Wildflower sits in the heart of Smugglers’ Notch, one of Vermont’s most dramatic and beautiful mountain destinations. The area combines classic Vermont scenery with year-round outdoor adventure—mountains, forests, rivers, waterfalls, swimming holes, hiking and biking trails, and spectacular fall foliage are all close by.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort is just down the road, offering skiing and snowboarding in winter along with year-round activities. The historic Smugglers’ Notch mountain pass and Route 108 provide access to some of the region’s best hiking and sightseeing, while the village of Jeffersonville offers local restaurants, cafés, shops, and breweries.

Despite being close to everything, the property feels peaceful and immersed in nature. Guests can spend the day skiing, hiking, exploring swimming holes, or visiting nearby towns and breweries, then return to a quiet mountain retreat surrounded by the Vermont landscape.

The area is ideal for romantic getaways, outdoor adventures, foliage trips, ski weekends, and guests simply looking to unplug and experience the mountains.

A car is the best way to explore the Smugglers’ Notch area. The Wildflower is in a rural mountain setting, so public transportation and rideshare services are limited.

Smugglers’ Notch Resort is just down the road, and the village of Jeffersonville—with restaurants, cafés, shops, and other essentials—is only a short drive away. Hiking trails, swimming holes, breweries, scenic drives, and other local attractions are easily accessible by car.

In winter, we strongly recommend an AWD or 4WD vehicle with appropriate winter tires, as Vermont mountain roads can be snowy or icy. Please also note that the scenic section of Route 108 through Smugglers’ Notch is closed to vehicles during the winter, so travel toward Stowe requires an alternate route.

The Wildflower is conveniently located just off the Notch Road, route 108. Lot 6 Brewery and Full Send Pizza are right next door and within easy walking distance, so great beer and pizza don't require getting back in the car.

The cabin sits near the Brewster River, and you'll hear the sound of the water throughout the property. Its convenient location also means occasional passing traffic may be heard.

The Wildflower is designed primarily as a retreat for two. Pets are not permitted, and smoking, vaping, parties and events are not allowed.

This is a mountain property in northern Vermont, so conditions change with the seasons. Guests may encounter insects, wildlife, snow, ice, mud and changing river conditions—all part of staying close to nature in Smugglers’ Notch.
